Call me Echo, E, Adler, Addie, OR Turtle. Pixie Dust calls me that.
I'm 18, in my second year of college, and shockingly, I love to read ANYTHING. You name it, I've read it.
I'm obsessive over my music too, and if I don't have it I will have a problem. It's a literal drug for me and I can't be without it. On top of reading everything, I listen to everything and just about any artist you throw at me. I also enjoy to be outside and getting my hands dirty. I live in a very rural area and I really don't like the city...but that working with my hands thing translates into my life too, because I am an artist and do just about anything that falls under that category. Stained glass, timber frame, jewelry, sewing...I'm not picky if it means I get to be creative.
Some of my favorite quotes:
Malachi scowled. "I don't remember the Clave inviting you into the Glass City, Magnus Bane."
"They didn't," Magnus said. "Your wards are down."
"Really?" the Consul's voice dripped sarcasm. "I hadn't noticed."
Magnus looked concerned. "That's terrible. Someone should have told you." He glanced at Luke. "Tell him the wards are down.”
City of Glass by Cassandra Clare
“Headline?" Augustus asked.
"'Swing Set Needs Home,'" I said.
"'Desperately Lonely Swing Set Needs Loving Home,'" he said.
"'Lonely, Vaguely Pedophilic Swing Set Seeks the Butts of Children,'" I said.”
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
“Tell me my copy is missing the last twenty pages or something.
Hazel Grace, tell me I have not reached the end of this book.
OH MY GOD DO THEY GET MARRIED OR NOT OH MY GOD WHAT IS THIS?!”
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
"Have you tried talking to her?"
"No," Jace said, "we've been punching her repeatedly in the face instead. Why, do you think that won't work?"
City of Glass by Cassandra Clare
Very slowly using two fingers, Annabeth drew her dagger. Instead of dropping it, she tossed it as far as she could into the water.
Octavian made a squeaking sound. "What was that for? I didn't say toss it! That could've been evidence. Or spoils of war!"
Annabeth tried for a dumb-blonde smile, like: Oh, silly me. Nobody who knew her would have been fooled. But Octavian seemed to buy it. He huffed in exasperation.
"You other two..." He pointed his blade a Hazel and Piper. "Put your weapons on the dock. No funny bus--"
All around the Romans, Charleston Harbor erupted like a Las Vegas fountain putting on a show. When the wall of seawater subsided, the three Romans were in the bay, spluttering and frantically trying to stay afloat in their armor. Percy stood on the dock, holding Annabeth's dagger.
"You dropped this," he said, totally poker-faced.”
The Mark of Athena by Uncle RicK
"Moths," repeats Will. "You're afraid of moths?"
"Not just a cloud of moths," Christina says, "like...a swarm of them. Everywhere. All those wings and legs and..." She shudders and shakes her head.
"Terrifying," Will says with mock seriousness. "That's my girl. Tough as cotton balls."
"Oh, Shut up."
Divergent by Veronica Roth
"Even the Inquisitor's eyebrows shot up when Magnus strode through the gate. The High Warlock was wearing black leather pants, a belt with a buckle in the shape of a jeweled M, and a cobalt-blue Prussian military jacket open over a white lace shirt. He shimmered with layers of glitter. His gaze rested for a moment on Alec's face with amusement and a hint of something else before moving on to Jace, prone on the ground.
"Is he dead?" he inquired. "He looks dead."
"No," snapped Maryse. "He's not dead."
"Have you checked? I could kick him if you want." Magnus moved toward Jace.
"Stop that!" the Inquisitor snapped, sounding like Clary's third-grade teacher demanding that she stop doodling on her desk with a marker."
City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
I say it like it is. And sarcasm is my second language. I'm bilingual.

I'm Always Here
Alia has always been the girl left alone. She sits in the table with no-one there, she slumps in the farthest desk away from the teacher, she wanders home with no-one to talk to.
