"Okay, Jess. You are free to go. Your brother is outside waiting for you. Be careful" Ryan winked at me. I waved him good bye. I found Percy sitting on the pouch with his hands holding his head. I sat down next to him. He looked up and hugged me.

"Are you fine?"

"Percy I'm fine. I'm going to head back to the cabin to change. What today?"

I came outside to be greeted by Annabeth. She lift my shirt up and touched me scar that I got.

"What the fuck Annabeth."

"Sorry. I just needed to see it for myself. Do you know who did that to you?"

"An enemy demigod."

"No, Jess. It was their leader, Luke. It doesn't make sense that he do this to you. Why not Percy?" She walked away talking to her herself. I rolled my eyes and walked down to the beach. I sat at the edge of the dock and stuck my feet in. I saw someone sit next me. I looked over to find Ryan. He smiled at me.

"Hey. Why are you by your self?"

"I haven't had the chance to make friends yet and Percy is teaching a lesson right now." Ryan nodded his head.

"So, There a dance tonight here at the beach for one of heads. We can wear anything we want. No one is going to be watching us. I was wondering if you were coming?"

"I didn't know there was a party tonight. I think about." Ryan put his hand on my back then pushed me in.

"HEYY!" He laughed. I swam over to him. "Your lucky I took off my boots."

"Well daughter of the sea. You can't drown." He took off his shirt and jumped in with me. I felt a hand on my ankle. I got pulled down. It a good thing I could breathe in water. I saw him. I smiled at him. Challenging him to see how k=long he can stay. He had to go up after a minute.

"Strong lungs you got there, Jess"

"I am the daughter of a sea god." We got out and dried off. We head to the dining area for dinner. I was glad to talk to Percy and have a lot of room.

"Is there really a dance tonight?"

"Is this OK to wear?" I came out of my curtains.

"Jess you look great. Let go." We headed down were every one was dancing, talking and having fun. Percy walked over to Annabeth who glared at me. I felt a hand on my back. I whipped around to find Ryan there.

"Easy there Jess. I'm not the enemy."

"Sorry. I'm not used of people touching all the time."

"So you did come. How long you been here?"

"A couple of minutes."

"Why aren't you with Percy?"

"Annabeth glared at me. Daring me to come over and if I do go over I will get killed by her or be ignored." I rolled my eyes. Ryan took my hand and lead me to where everyone was dancing.

"Join me?" He started to dance awful. I laughed at him. We danced together. Then a girl came up to us.

"Hey Ryan." The girl was really pretty. Her make up was prefect. Her hair was amazing. She had great clothes on.

"Hi Drew. Drew this is Jess, daughter of Poseidon."

"Hi"

"Why are with her? When we could be talking alone." Ryan gently pushed her away and walked to my side.

"Drew, I told you it was over. I'm hanging out with my friend."

"Ryan dear. You will regent this. I swear." Drew walked away. Finding someone else.

"Jess are you okay?"

"Ya. She scared me that all."

"She of a daughter of goddess of love." We walked away to be alone. We talked about everything. School. Places where we want to go. Friends. His past loves. My mom and brothers. My older friends.

"Jess, Have you ever date anyone?"

"No. I'm an outcast. No one at my school likes me. This is a fact. Their a bunch of rumors about me. Even the loner kids think I'm a disease."

"I don't think that. Your really pretty, Jess." He got closer to me. He put both his arms around me. I put my head on his shoulder.

"Thank you." I whispered. He kissed my head then my forehead then my cheek. Then he finally found my lips. It felt right. I don't know how to explain it. Then we heard and uh-huh. We broke apart and looked the the people. It was Percy and Annabeth. My face went bright red.

"Jess come here. We are going to the cabin now." Percy sounded angry. I got up and left with him. Percy yelled at me when we got to the cabin.

"I just don't want to you to get hurt."
