The orphanage owner busts through my door.
"WAKE UP YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF CRAP!"
"Ughh." I moan as she Leaves and slams the door. I look at my necklace that had a little pocket watch on it and its already 7:30. Im going to be late. My mom gave me my necklace when I was 7 right before she left. She said it reminded her of my father. I have never took it off since. I got out of bed, put on my grey beanie, some black jeans, and a black jacket with a blue tee underneath.
"Have a horrible day at school you little nothing!"
Said Ms Brooks happily. She hit the back of my head as i walked put the door. I got on the bus and sat 4 seats down from where you get on, as usual. As the bus rolled by pass I looked at the orphanage. The place looked so run down and creepy. The windows were tinted so you couldent see through them, there were plants growing in the gutters, and cobwebs. Lots of them. Well, thats home for ya!
I heard loud footsteps, so i turned around to find my 3 least favorite people (besides Ms Brooks) coming towards me. The Tall and beefy one was Joey. He was the "leader" of their bullying group. The Tall and skinny one was Jake, and the short one was Issac. Issac is like the third wheel of the 3.
"Whats up Ass wipe?" said Joey sitting down next to me. Jake and Issac sat in the seat behind. Joey took by book back and dumped everything out on the floor. I had a mad look on my face. Joey and I stood up and faced eachother.
"Watcha gonna do about it?!" Said Jake
"Yeah watcha gonna do?" Replies Issac
"You're nothing but a wimp!"
"Yeah!"
"You are such a loser!"
"Yeah!"
"You cant even defend yourself
"Yea-"
"ISSAC SHUT UP!" Shouted Jake. Issac Stopped talking, and looked down sadly. Joey waled toward me with a fist. I covered my face with my hands, and as soon as his fist was a half an inch away from my face, it stopped. I put down my hands slowly and looked around. Everything was frozen. Not knowing I was this strong, I grabbed Joey's fist and flipped him over my back. Suddenly, time went back to normal.
"Wh-What just appened?!" Joey said. Jake and Issac just stared in disbelief. The bus stopped at school, and I ran off the bus into the men's bathroom.
"What the- what happened?!" "Was that me?!" "It couldn't have been me!" "Its like time just...froze." I was talking to myself walking around in circles. The Bell rang and I went to class. I was shaking and sweating. "Chase, do you need to go to the nurse?" asked thee Teacher. "N-no i'm fine." 4 HOURS LATER

Jake's POV:
There he was again, that freak show Chase at his locker. I walked over to chase while he wasn't looking and held him up against the lockers by his collar.

Chase's POV:
"What happened on the bus today freak?" Said Jake.
"WHAT HAPPENED!" I was panicking, my eyes turned gold, and with my one free hand, A HUGE blast of energy came out, and hit Jake. Jake flew and cracked the wall across from the lockers. I fell down and my eyes turned back to grey. Everyone running out of the building. Except this one girl who was running in. She had stormy grey eyes, she was obviously older, and tall. Beautiful. Just as she neeled down to me, I passed out.
