Gazing up her, my face stung. She was amazing. Her long strawberry blonde hair, the stormy grey eyes. She was either the girl of my dreams, or my worse nightmare. Pain blistered up on my cheeks as I struggled to stand. I didn't know what to do, but this girl wasn't normal. She was scary. Twenty times scarier than the volleyball team. Even worse than my mom, when she was angery.
Calmly she advanced, her golden sandles were tempting, but I knew I couldn't handle her. I needed help. I needed to run and find Percy. Skulking backwards, I ran into the creek. with a swift foot to the face, I collapsed to the ground. Pain ached in my head and my back. Suddenly, my entire body burned. I screamed in agony, to realize I was dreaming.
I dreamed of laying in a lazy river, within an old cavern. Gazing up a statue in the distance glowed. I hurried toward the shore, climbing up rocks and walking up mountain trails. When I finally reached the statue, I realized it was a statue of Neptune, like the dude from spongebob. Smiling, I looked at the statue as if began to shimer in a golden light.
The statue then came to life. It looked exactly the same, but had a unique distinction. The voice of a powerful and old god. "Christian, it's been ages. I have awaited for the time perfect to claim you. I believe now it is that time."
"I'm sorry, but who are you again? I don't remember the Greek names clearly." I asked him rudely.
The statue stood still for a moment, until he sighed. "Poseidon, god of the sea." He murmured. I turned with a sly smile."Cool, but I have nothing to say to you. Abandon your child, and he ends up losing interest. I waited for sixteen years for you to come and meet me. And you do this through a statue and if that's not enough doing it through a dream puts the icing on the cake!" Turning away I closed my eyes, and forced myself awake.
When I woke up the gilr was screaming at me. "Wake up! I know you're alive. I could see you healing!" Shifting up, I rose, to see my entire body was healed. I had no idea what had happened, but,I liked it.
With a smile on my face, I swung my sword to see her block it with on hand. "Kid, I'm not just an ordinary demigod, I am a child of Hecate. The goddess of magic. Even if you bested me in combat I wouldn't feel pain."
I smiled. "You know, I'm getting really sick and tired of your attitude!" Closing my hand I waved it like a fist and aimed at her. In a sudden formation a fist of water rose out of the creek and blasted her backward, toward the flag. Quickly gesturing the water to grab her I pulled her forward and threw to the other side of the creek. My head suddenly felt like it was being ripped apart but the water touching my feet soothed the pain.
Rising up she pulled off her helm and smiled. "You're not a normal demigod no." She started. "You're his brother. I remember, it was a few years ago. We were back at Camp, Percy had his father visit, and Poseidon said, that he would have little brothers and sisters. I thought he was joking, but here you are." She said miseribly.
"I don't want to hurt you!" I cried.
The girl smiled. As she held her hand up in the air. Calling out a word in latin, she lanced her arm down as a strand of lightning came across the sky directly at me. Fear raced through my head, as I realized one thing, I was soaked. Quickly lancing up from the water, I landed on the other side of the creek safe.
Turning around, I noticed a gathering of campers surrounding us, as A bulb of green light lit above my head. I gazed up to see a trident and to see Percy smiling on the other side of the Creek.
"I forgot to say something earlier." He said. "Welcome to Cam Half-blood , brother!" With a scream of cheers everyone congratulated me as a son of Poseidon. Although, I didn't want to be his son. I wanted to be the son of nobody. I just wanted a normal life.

Try again. Remeber to measure Percy's current age. The contents page tells you his age if you need help. You'll know when you got it because of that strange feeling. If anything you could reread chapter 6 to confirm the actual age. Remember how old she was and percy was during her arriveal.
