We arrived in Long Island, the next day. By now, my attitude had changed and I was beginning to think that these gods we're all that they were cracked up to be. Not to mention, we had drawn the attention of basalisks, a giant and three snake haired ladies in all but an hour.
I wasn't even happy with the time we were making either. If it wasn't for all the delaying, we would've arrived no later than yesterday at nine o'clock at night. Skulking my feet, I shuffled onward, to see a magical hill top.
"Are we getting any closer?!" I complained.
"We're here. It's here." Ella replied. Looking down, I batted my eyes. The place didn't really look very inviting. It looked more like a children's playground rather than a camp for demigods. Although Nick had other expressions. He marveled over all the different buildings and shops. He even seemed to be facinated by all the weapons the camp had.
Eventually, I met up with a blonde girl with stormy grey eyes. She had on an orange tee, a pair of caprees and converse. "I see, you're new here. I'm Annabeth Chase, the daughter of Athena." She said holding her hand out for a shake.
Respectfully, I shoke hands and replied. "I'm Scarlet Night, the daughter of Be-"
With a quick shove, Nick stopped me. "I'm sorry. My name's Nicolas. I'm the recently claimed son of Hermes. My girlfriend here, would like to ask you a hypothetical question." He smiled.
"Shot." Annabeth nodded. I smiled, a bit uneased on how to start. Taking a deep breath, I began. "Let's say, there was a person who was claimed but eventually found out they weren't technically the same as everyone else.Could she or he, still stay at this camp for safety from the monsters?"
Annabeth glanced at me, like she was thinking a million things at once. "It's never up to the councilers to decide stuff like that. But what your talking about has happened before. So long as said demigod is still completely ok with being here, they are more than welcome at times." She turned. "Let's go check in with Chiron." She said.
Through out, the walk, I mentioned the design schmatics of the place. Annabeth was dying to fix it. Appreantly, the children of Athena were natural architects. She seemed to want to build archs and domes and a peaceful suburb for retired demigods to live in.
From everything she said we seemed to have a very similar way of thinking. She was also fun to talk to, although what Ella had told me made me a little on edge. Children of Athena not being respected in Rome? If anything Annabeth was totally Roman. Or at least from the way I felt. I hadn't understood why Nick was facinated with this stuff, when I on the other hand I had found it incomplete.
Arriving at the blue house, I noticed a man on the porch playing an old game with a young man in his twenties. He had dark hair exactly like Nick and sea green eyes. His attire was more casual, he wore a pair of sweatpants and a n orange tee. The man smiled as Annabeth approached.
"Chiron, these are new demigods, Ella found them." She said.
Chiron, must've been the man in the wheelchair. He looked like he was in his forties, but his physique read more like mid-twenties. "Thank you." He nodded. "I think you've gotten better, Percy. You obviously know how to play now." Chiron smiled. Picking up a peice, he quickly demolished any chance of Percy's victory. With a grin, Chiron yelled. "Pincho!"
Strolling away, he approached us. He smiled, as he examined me. His eyes rose as he realized, what I was. "I think, the boy deserves a tour of camp. I'd like to have a word with Ms-"
"Night," I replied. "Scarlet Night."
With a kiss, I parted ways with Nick for the time being. "Percy, could you show Nick around?" Chiron called out. With a swift movement, Percy rose with a smile on his face, ready to meet the challenge.

You should update this is a great story and I really enjoy it.
