ya about that rebellious thing it didn't work out well lets just say it had something to do with a lighter toilet paper being expelled from school and a three month grounding. So since I'm "grounded" i was in my room laying down on my bed looking up at my ceiling. All of a sudden i heard " Luna come into the living room family meeting!" uncle Sam yelled from downstairs i sighed and got up since when is their a family meeting? as i got into the living room i saw Sam and Emily and the rest of the guys their including Jacob.
I sat down next to Seth and i felt really uncomfortable because everybody was sitting their giving me sympathetic looks i wonder whats going on. "Luna we called you done here to talk about your...mother" he said barely audible on the last word "ya what about her" i said sceptically "well um she kinda got in a.......car incident......she was out in a hospital an they just confirmed her dead as of half an hour ago" Sam said softly "so your going to have to live with us till your 18" my mind went blank this isn't happening i thought then i got mad at the world and Sam i said "like I'm going to live here I'm staying at camp till the day i die and die like a hero!" Sam just got a little mad and said "i forbid you from going to camp and seeing or talking to your friends from that stupid place and to stay away from anything Greek related!" now he was starting to yell.
"wow i geus I'm banned from being me!" i yelled and ran to my room i grabbed my purple book bag and started shoving cloths and my secret stash of money plus some other personal stuff. after i had that all safely put in my bag i opened my window and crawled through it i then started heading for the woods with one thought and one thought only I'm going to camp.
After walking like ten miles i had to sit down and rest it was completely pitch black out and i couldn't start a fire because i would attract monsters,i sat their alone cold no food i never felt so lonely in the world then i do now. I thought about my mother and all the good times we had in the past how when I was 7 she took me to the zoo in long island new York and I accidently got covered in feathers don't ask about that. I hadn't relized that I was starting to cry until I felt my cheeks were wet I decided to cry myself to sleep that night.
I woke to the soft chirping and chitter chatter of the squirrel's waking up to start a new day. I sighed better get up and find breakfast before I start to travel again. I walked till I found a stream I saw a whole bunch of trout and other species of fish in their so I grabbed my sword and waited till the fish swam by then I jammed the tip of my sword into the stream and wayla I got breakfast.
I walked back and made a small small fire(because of the monsters) and cooked the fish. after a well deserved breakfast I decided to continue to walk to camp I put out the fire grasped my backpack in my hand,and started walking towards camp but what I didn't expect was to see an old friend from where I lived before with my mom in manhatten.
I saw her sitting in the allyway under a card board box she had blond hair that was now dirty and strangly that looked like she hadn't brushed it in weeks. her tshirt and jeans were dirty and ripped she had a metal fire place poker with her she was the same age as me I missed her but I wonder what happend to her. I carefully walked up to her "Marion what happened to you?" I asked looking in her stormy grey eyes.
"I ran away again I cant take my foster parents anymore I cant believe your here now I'm not alone anymore" she said her voice cracking a little when she talked "well I'm glade I found you what happens it looks like you got attacked by a army of angry lepercouns" I stated looking her all over her her clohes were shredded and she had cuts and scars and bruses all over her.
"kinda like that but stuff much bigger that shouldn't even exsist" she said whispering the last part. "ok I have a little surprise what if I said I could take you somewhere safe away from attaks and your foster parents?" I said wanting to take her to camp because she probley is a demigod.
"I would scream and jump up and down and you will forever be my bestfriend and sister!" she said excitedly "I'm already your bestfriend marion and there is such a place its at my camp its called camp halfblood and I'm going there right now and I'm taking you with me" I said as she jumped up and grabbed my hand "come on!" she yelled tugging me to leave "okay okay Marion sheesh your as bad as the day darin asked you out" I exclaimed remembering that day how she couldn't stay still.
we were now in long island new York I could just see the hill upahead. "come on just a little further were almost their" I told Marion she was getting pretty worn out she was hobbling along like a old turtle I sighed and stoped walking so she could catch up.
"I don't know if I can go any further" she said helplessly urgh!! don't get me wrong I love my friend but she can get annoying at the wrong times just then out of the corner of my eye I saw a minatour it was coming towareds us no wait it was charging towards us uh oh "no time to whine right now when I say go I want you to run as fast as you can up that hill and keep going until you see a big farm house" I said hoping she did what I said I waited till the big cow man was just a foot away from us when I yelled "go!" and activated my sword I watched as she made it safley up I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
then I turned and faced the minatour he charged at me but I sidestepped he charged past me and hit a tree I made a dash for camp I ran as I never ran before. but unfortanitaly it wasn't enough he came charging back he picked me up and threw me into the nereby lake into the deep part and I wasn't a good swimmmer. I hit the water and sank deeper and deeper.---------------------------------------
