Percy Jackson and the Creator: The Creator's Trick

Camp Jupiter Falls

Percy charged towards the Romans with Jason and Hazel at his heels. Tartarus's army had already begun to charge down the hill from the other direction towards the Romans. Percy ripped his word off his back as he approached the Romans. They made a path so he, Hazel, and Jason could get to the front. The sight of the biggest army Percy had ever seen actually made him nervous. He hadn't felt nervous since before he joined Chaos. He couldn't take his eyes off the girl in red armor, Annabeth. A sick feeling in his stomach entered and started to grow. He would have to fight her for sure, no matter what. Percy turned to the Romans, "Alright listen up! You are the only hope for the west coast of Greek and Roman ways. You must draw your line here. We have to hold them. If we have to we'll draw them into the city and fight there. We WILL stop them. We can't give up hope." Percy raised his sword. "For Rome!" He shouted. The Romans echoed his battle cry. Percy turned and started running towards the army of monsters. Specifically straight at Annabeth. He could feel the 200 Romans running behind him. As Percy neared the monsters he spun his sword and struck the ground with all his might. Black energy erupted from his sword and shot in all directions at the army of monsters. It was all chaos. Many of the monsters erupted and turned to dust or some fell on the spot, but it wasn't enough. More monsters took their place, and finally the two armies collided in a massive boom. Screams and growls erupted as many of both sides fell. Percy couldn't worry about them, he had his own battle to fight. Annabeth had stopped about twelve feet from Percy. She was snickering and waving at him. She held a three foot long solid red sword in one hand and a smaller solid red knife in the other. "Annabeth what made you do it? Why did you join him?" Percy yelled at her. She grinned and walked forward, "I finally realized we just can't win anymore, not with you leading us. Tartarus is someone who can't be beaten, not by a cold and selfish liar like you. So now I must kill you. Goodbye Perseus Jackson." "Annabeth please.." Percy let out as she came forward. Annabeth showed no emotion. She brought her sword towards his head. Percy raised his sword and blocked it. Red and black energy erupted from the swords meeting vaporizing all within twenty feet. Annabeth kicked Percy back and slashed with her knife cutting him across the chest. Pain instantly flared across his whole body. Whatever her sword was made of it wasn't good for his health, at all. Annabeth charged again driving her sword forward. Percy sidestepped and grabbed her wrist and flipped her onto her back. She recovered and swung her legs connecting with his legs dropping him. She spun onto her knees and brought her dagger down onto his arm. It pierced his skin going straight though muscle, ligaments, and bone. Percy let a blood curling scream out of him. The pain was the hottest and the most intense pain he ever felt. Percy somehow brought his leg up and kicked her away. He rolled away and clutched the dagger in his arm. He tried to pull it out but more pain flared through. Annabeth stood and swung her sword around. "You can't beat him Percy. He will kill you and the gods. It's over." Percy struggled to his feet. He looked around him. Monsters constantly kept pouring over the hill. Romans lay dead everywhere. Very few purple shirts still stood. They were losing. Percy remembered the trap he had set up with Chaos. Percy yelled as loud as he could, "Fall back to the city! We'll make our stand there!" Annabeth came towards him. Percy raised his hand and black energy shot from his hand and connected with her. She flew back. Percy ran towards the city chasing the last of the Romans. There was maybe thirty purple shirts in front f him, including Will and Jason. Percy's legs were growing weak. The pain was spreading. He started to realize that maybe it was poison. It was going to kill him, very soon. Percy reached the city lines and crossed over. The last of the Romans were beaten, bloody, and looked like the walking dead. Will came over and grabbed Percy. "What happened?" Percy could hardly hold his eyes open anymore. "Annabeth...metal from...Tartarus. Open the door Will.....get them to Camp Half-Blood." Will nodded and Percy started seeing darkness. When he could see again Will and Jason were lifting him up and carrying him to the door. A door made of Chaos energy. Pure black energy. It led to Camp Half-Blood. Percy could hear the monsters getting closer. As Percy passed through the door he could see that the trap had been sprung. Thousands of bottle of Greek fire were raining down to the city. His head dipped and he fell into darkness.
