Percy Jackson and the Creator: The Creator's Trick

They appeared in the throne room. The first thing Percy saw was the Greek gods chained in red chains. They all looked old, frail, and weak. Tartarus was standing in the middle of the room with Annabeth beside him. Tartarus laughed, “Chaos you are too late. I’ve begun sucking their powers. Soon they will all be dead including all of you.” Tartarus stepped forward and drew his sword. Chaos did the same. Suddenly they both became a blur of red and black. They were flying around the throne room fighting and bumping into each other. Percy focused his attention on Annabeth. She stalked forward and raised her sword. A boy appeared out of flames. It was Will. He was dressed in red armor and carried a red sword and bow. Percy froze. “Will, how are you here?” He grinned, “Tartarus showed me the way Percy. You are foolish for siding with Chaos.” Will stood beside Annabeth. “Are you ready?” Percy asked Zoe and Jason. “As ready a I’ll ever be.” Zoe said. “I’m tired.” Was Jason’s response. They charged towards Annabeth and Will. Jason broke off and took Will on while Percy and Zoe fought Annabeth. Percy and Zoe would take turns fighting and stabbing but Annabeth was on her A game. Every time Percy would stab at a defenseless spot she would move or block it. She had to be weak somewhere. Annabeth flipped backwards drawing Zoe forward. Zoe slashed at her head but Annabeth ducked and drew her knife and stabbed Zoe in the shoulder. Then she kicked Zoe back and she flew into a wall. Annabeth turned to Percy. “It’s just me and you Seaweed Brain.” Percy spit as an answer. She came forward and swung at Percy. He caught her arm and spun into her body. He pulled his knife out and hesitated. He had the open shot, yet he thought about all their quests. Crawling through Tartarus, every kiss, hug, and laugh. Annabeth seized her opportunity. She twisted Percy’s arm until it popped. Percy cried out. And Annabeth stabbed him in the side with her knife. She threw him down and turned her attention on Will and Jason. Jason had Will on his heels. His bow was broke at his feet and his sword was gone. He was fighting Jason with his knife. Annabeth neared them. Jason didn’t see her coming. Percy reached for his sword. It was just out of reach. He looked for Chaos and Tartarus. They were wrestling behind the thrones. Black and red energy exploded everywhere. Annabeth came behind Jason and raised her knife. Suddenly an arrow whistled and struck her in her arm. Annabeth dropped the knife and clutched her arm. Another arrow struck her in the leg. And another in the shoulder. Annabeth dropped. Jason dropped onto his knees and brought his sword up and stabbed Will in the gut. Jason twisted the sword and pulled it out. Will spit blood and dropped. Percy twisted on the ground and looked behind him. Zoe was standing there with a bow. She bent down and helped Percy up. He could feel the blood leak slowly out of his side. He pressed his hand against it. Jason looked towards them and then towards Chaos and Tartarus. Tartarus came flying over the thrones and landed in the middle of the room. Chaos strolled over. He was bleeding ichor, the blood of immortals. All four of them stood looking at Tartarus lying on the floor. He didn’t move. “What now?” Jason asked. Tartarus’s eyes opened, “I’ll show you.” He shot off the ground in a column of flames and time slowed. Tartarus landed on the ground moving faster than they could move. He grabbed Zoe by the throat and threw her across the throne room. He pulled his sword and slashed Chaos across the chest. Chaos dropped. He turned on Jason and kicked him into Zeus’s throne. He turned to Percy and sneered. He elbowed Percy in the jaw and kneed him in the gut and then whacked him with the flat of his blade and flipped him onto his back. Tartarus then drew a knife and walked towards Chaos. He pulled a set of red chains from his coat and chained Chaos to the ground. He knelt down and put his knee on Chaos’s chest. “Did you know that when you kill the one chained his powers go straight to the one who kills the other? Let me show you first hand.” Tartarus raised the knife and stabbed Chaos in the heart. Chaos’s eyes got wide. Tartarus twisted the knife and Chaos coughed ichor. The room glowed bright and then nothing. Chaos melted into shadow and he was gone. Tartarus stood up and looked around the throne room. He chuckled to himself, “Tartarus. King of the world.” He walked to the exit. “Oh and Percy. Hope you enjoy your demise.” He left the throne room. Percy got up on one knee and fell down again. He slapped the floor in anger and got back on one knee. He pushed himself up and stumbled to the humongous door. He stumbled forward until he was on the golden path. Different buildings were on fire or reduced to rubble. It seemed like Tartarus had all the gods powers now. Percy kept going until he saw Tartarus. He was perched on a bridge overlooking New York. He was glowing black and chanting. He was trying to destroy the world as we knew it. He was going to make our world look like the actual Tartarus. Percy ran towards Tartarus. What he was going to do was extremely stupid, but he had to do it. He ran forward and tackled Tartarus over the bridge and towards New York. They flew towards the ground screaming. At the last second Percy summoned a shield of black energy and everything went dark.
