The Demigod Games

After the tour we all have to go to our apartments. I take my time to explore. It's all pretty beautiful. As I step into my room, I instantly love it.
We spend the rest of the day in our apartments. When dinner comes, I sat down to Jason, and Quinn sits on his left. The food is pretty fucking amazing. All of my favorites are on the table.
We all eat in silence. Quinn suddenly clears his throat. "Your training begins tomorrow. You'll also be interviewed. The interview and the games will be aired on Hephaestus TV, and all of your friends in your camp will watch." He says.
I feel my anger flare up. "So we're supposed to be okay with this?" I demand. "We're going to fight to the death in front of our friends, all for the god's viewing enjoyment? You people are fucking sick!"
Quinn winces and Jason glares at me. Quinn takes a deep breath. "I know you aren't looking forward to this. No one is. Honestly, I'm here by force. The only two mentors who volunteered are Stephen mentoring the Ares, and Aylin, mentoring the Hermes." He said.
I narrow my eyes. Of course the bitch would volunteer to mentor a person about to fight to the death.
"Your outfit designer will be here tomorrow at nine. Then you will train until four. After that, your interview starts at 6, but you have to be there by 5:30." He finishes.
Jason finishes his dinner and excuses himself. I just stare down at my food.
"When can I go see my friends?" I ask.
"All tributes will have an hour to be with their friends in the main room." He responds.
I nod. Once we're done, wind spirits come in and take everything out.
"You'll get to see your friends in about 15 minutes." Quinn says. I thank him and I head to Jason's room. The door's closed and I knock.
"Come in." Jason calls. I turn the door handle and open the door. Jason's room is the more or less the same as mine. I sit down own his bed.
"Quinn says we can go downstairs for an hour to see our friends." I say. Jason nods absentmindedly. "Are you going to go?" I ask him. Jason shakes his head.
"There's no one to talk to." He says.
"What about Piper?" I ask.
Jason's eyes flash. "Don't talk about her. You know I broke up with her." He mutters.
"But why?" I ask.
Jason looks down. "So if she dies, it won't hurt as much." He says softly.
"That's no reason to give up on her. Maybe you two can make it to the end." I say. He shakes his head. "Well, suit yourself." I sigh.
I stand up and walk out to the living room where Quinn is waiting for me.
We take the elevator and go to the main room. The first thing I see when I open the door is Aylin itrying to flirt with Jake. Jake looks extremely uncomfortable and I have to stifle a laugh as I see him keep trying to inch away from her. As soon as Jake sees me he makes a beeline for me. He wraps his arm around me and kisses me.
"Gods, I thought you would never get here. She hasn't stopped bugging me." He whines.
I laugh. Aylin looks mad, but she still decides to came over.
"So Jake, who is this?" She asks in a syrupy sweet voice. I grit my teeth.
Jake rolls his eyes. "This is my girlfriend Sienna Delarosa, daughter of Zeus." Jake says.
Aylin glares at me and but she manages to force a smile. Jake pulls me closer and kisses my forehead. With one final hateful look, she turns around and leaves us.
I hang out with Jake, Sophie, Stacey and Logan until the hour ends.
Once the hour is up, we all head back to our apartments. I get ready for bed and as soon as my head touches the pillow, I fall asleep.
