Annabeth POV

I felt my body being dragged through dirt. I couldn't move. My eyes were glued shut and the rest of my body felt like it was all stuck with tape. The only thing, I could do is listen.
"What are we going to do with the alpha? We can't just leave him just like this." a female voice snarled. "You stupid idiot! If I didn't come earlier, you would have killed the alpha's mate, Annabeth. You don't know how much she's powerful do you? It's been centuries since there was a White Fur Wolf."
"Jessica's right. Annabeth is a powerful wolf. I've been watching her since she was little." a male voice - which belonged to my so-called-father - said. "The problem is that how are we going to make her cooperate with us?"
"Use her mate as bait of course. If her mate's life was under a line, she would be forced to cooperate with us." Jessica said. I could hear the smile in her voice. That bitch. She's not going to touch Percy.
My father laughed. "Of course! You're just so smart! This is why I chose you over that Athena!" I heard a smooching sound which made me want to throw up right there. Jessica giggled an ugly giggle. "So what are we going to do now?"
"We have to start the ritual quick as possible. Both you and I have to go and talk to the other pack. We need them to help, of course and you, Octavian, go out and call the rogues. After we're done with Annabeth, I think they would love to have fun with her!" she said adding a screech for a laugh.
"Yes ma'am." Octavian said before running off.
"Are we going to leave Percy and Annabeth here all by themselves?" my father asked. I mentally rolled my eyes. Why do I have a stupid father?
"Of course not!" Jessica said. "Nico! Watch over them and if they suddenly disappear, you're going to get a nice beating. Understand?"
"Uh... yeah." Nico said. Nico? Why is Nico here? Betrayer! I should have known! My mother had once said, "Don't ever believe a person, even if you think they're your close friend." I didn't think Nico as a friend, I thought of him as my brother.
I heard footsteps fade after 30 seconds. I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. I knew it was Nico. I wanted to rip off that hand of his! No wait... I want to rip his heart in half!
But something unexpected happened. Nico was untying me. "Annabeth?" his voice cracked.
Nico took off what covered my eyes. Now I get it. They had tied me with rope and covered my eyes with a cloth so I won't see.
I tried to stand up, but my legs gave away and I fell back down. I looked up at Nico. I felt my jaw hit the ground.
Nico's clothing was all slightly ripped. He looked like he hadn't eaten for so long. There were circles under his eyes and they were red.
"Nico! What happened to you?" I asked forgetting that I was supposed to be angry at him.
"I know you think that I'm betraying everyone, but I'm seriously not…" he said. "Alpha Poseidon told me to be the spy. He knew that Percy and you will eventually end up here and he wanted me to get you out of here quick as possible… Your father was easy to trick, but Jessica wasn't. She's clever. She watched me carefully every time I did something. If I at least didn't give her any information on you guys, I wouldn't be able to hunt at midnight and wouldn't get dinner. I wasn't able to sleep as well. It's hard, but I got used to it."
"Nico, what are we going to do now? If Percy and I escape, Jessica will beat you. I heard her." I told him. "Wait… she won't, if we bring you with us!"
Nico shook his head. "No, you can't… I don't want to put too much pressure on both of you. Also I have to get Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank, Will and Leo out of here."
"Nico-"
"Annabeth, please. If I ever die… I will be remembered as a boy who sacrificed himself to protect their pack." Nico said.
I nodded looking away from him. Pain hit me hard in the chest. "So where's Percy?" I asked.
Nico gulped. "Look to your right."
I turned my head to the right and saw a boy lying still in the grass. I carefully got up again and this time I didn't fall. I limped toward the boy and finally when I was close enough I saw him face. Percy Jackson. My Mate. My Alpha.
I knelt down. "Percy?"
"Percy got bitten by a wolf. The only way to get the venom out is for a white powerful wolf to kiss him and in this situation, it's you. So, um… you can kiss him?" Nico said awkwardly. I felt a smile form on my lips as I bent down and placed my lips on my Alpha's. My hand automatically went into his hair and I kissed him fiercely. It's been so long since I kissed him like this.
All of a sudden, I felt someone's hand in my hair. It was Percy's. The kiss cured him obviously. I broke the kiss and straightened myself. I smiled down at Percy. "That's all I get?" he asked.
I crossed my arms over my chest and I nodded. "Yup. You should never expect too much from a person you know?"
"It's just a kiss!" Percy exclaimed sitting up. "Please, one more?"
Someone coughed from behind. Both Percy and I turned around to see Nico standing awkwardly. "Um… I think you both should get going now before they come back. If they're here, then there's no way to get out."
"Nico's right. We better leave." I said pulling Percy up with me.
Percy looked at me confused. "I'll explain everything to you when we get away from this place." I told him.
He just nodded brushing his bangs back. I wish I could just kiss him again.
