Late At Night...

I never had time to say goodbye to my friends, school, family, even my dad! I still saw them, but things were different between us, because they somehow knew that over that summer when I was at "Camp", something changed in me. I was never the same person again, because I wasn't the person I thought I was. But let me start front the beginning...
It was a hot June night in the city of Olympia. The fans were blowing full force in my bedroom, with the window open, but I still couldn't fall asleep. I tried everything, from my own personal way to fall asleep (push my fears into the corner of the room and think about the happy time with my family, to counting sheep, but I was seemingly nervous for some reason I couldn't put my finger on. Eventually, I gave up on sleep, and opened my book (Plague by Michael Grant), and tried to lose myself into Sam’s chaotic world.
I often wished to live in a fictional world, so that something, anything, could happen that would pull me away from the dull, repetitive life that is my own. Don't get me wrong, I love my family and friends and all, but nothing ever changes! The most exciting thing to ever happen to me was the time that someone broke into the house, but even that didn’t last very long, because when he got to my mother’s shrine, he passed out until we got back. Of course, he was sent to prison, but nothing actually happened!
When I was in the middle of a highly intense scene, I heard a knocking sound. There were often sounds around my house late at night, and I was half in the FAYZ, so I didn’t really hear it. After a couple of seconds, the knocking came again, so I put my book down, and listened. Again, the noise came, so I glanced around, threw back the covers and crept out of bed. I soft breeze seemed to be blowing my curtains, despite the fact when I strained my ears, I couldn’t hear the leaves rustling through the trees nearby.
My hand inched towards the curtain, and my fingers closed around the scratch material. I yanked it open, and peered out into the dark night. I could now see where the breeze and tapping was coming from…

It was a girl sitting on a flying horse.
