Percabeth Drabble
Sleep
Darkness. Kronos' face suddenly appeared in front of Annabeth, laughing at her. Mocking her. Rage boiled in her chest, until she saw Percy's form. Chained, surrounded by oil.
"Oil and water don't mix." Kronos' voice rang through her ears. He sound cold and harsh, the tone of frozen metal grinding against gravel. Panic began to replace her anger, running towards Percy. Annabeth hit an invisible wall, panic growing in her chest. Sound couldn't escape he lips, silent screams scratching her throat.
Her fists kept banging on the barrier, to the sound of the Titan's laugh. The oil kept rising, it was only a matter of time before Percy was gone. Almost at the top now, the oil blocked her view of Percy's. His cries being muffled by the thick black liquid.
Awake.
She thought of Percy, then remembered he was still there. Panic rose again, threatening an attack. Annabeth swallowed and got out of bed, trembling in the dark of the night. She sobbed silently on the floor, waking up one of her sisters. Her sister muttered soothing words, helping calm Annabeth. Of course, this didn't help the long standing fact the Percy was gone.
Three whole weeks a sleep deprived Annabeth wandered Camp. She had been muttering swears when someone scared her, hoping it was Percy playing a prank.
Every time it was a new camper. Every time her heart sank.
Notes
This is awfully short. I know I promised an update, so here it is. I'm horrible at second parts, so I hope this isn't too bad. This happens before Rachel tells Annabeth about the boy with one shoe so we all know what happens then.
