A tour around town
Ok so my friends have been hogging the mic and even called me a stick in the mud. Which I'm not denying but I'm not that bad. Anyway when I woke up I looked around I saw Tod in a bed next to me with warping around his head. And when I looked to my right Alpha was right their sitting up looking at his sword. "How you doing bro," he said without even looking at me like he just felt my awaking.
"Pretty good for a guy who just fought a man-eating cyclops" me and him laughed for a bit and got back to being sad. I went back to sleep for about a hour before an angel woke me up. Correction it was just Amber.
"Come on lazy bums its time for the tour if Camp Half-Blood and don't grab my butt Tod already did that twice on "accident""
I look it that she was mad and I was too that lucky Tod. After I got dress faith some new clothes, it was a yellow jogging shirt with white jogging pants, drank some more nectar, and punched Tod we were on our way. After an hour of looking at all the god houses we stopped at a big blue one with a painting of a trident on each of the doors.Amber was the first to speak " So Su this is your home and I think you know who your parent is right?"
It took me a few minutes to answer. It wasn't because I didn't know it was just a lot to take in. "Poseidon.....right he's the god of the seas no?" I was half hoping I was wrong I mean I was hoping it was someone wise like Athena just like me not someone jerky like Poseidon who is the king of tsunamis, hurricanes, and earthquakes..... Yeah not a nice guy. When we went inside I felt at home. Don't get me wrong I love my aunt Monica she's the only family I have left but this felt like I've lived here my whole life."So this is my new home huh?" I said hoping not to sound too happy that I'm not going to be in the same cabin with then. Then I noticed another bed filled with pictures and such. One was of Percy and some blond girl smiling at the camera. It was it girlfriend I could tell then I thought how she was taking the news, most likely not well. And here I was worrying about my dad while she had to deal with the lost of a loved one. After I put away my things( which is like a shirt and Percy's sword) we went off to see 20 other cabins. When we got Alphas I was completely impressed by the design. It looked like the White House but a but smaller, it had a statue of Zeus on the top of it and going inside was a bunch of statues of famous Zeus kids like Heracles, Perseus, Ares, Apollo,Artemis ( the list goes on he's had like a hundred kids). Then I looked up to see the biggest statue of some guy and what looks to be his sister. All the statutes were about 6 feet but this center masterpiece was about 20. At the bottom it showed a message on a plac. THIS IS TO JASON AND THAILA GRACE HEROES OF ZEUS.
"So this is where am going to be living now" Alpha said way to hopefully. Amber laughed and when she looked up she saw that alpha wasn't kidding.
"Oh no this is for children of Zeus your a child of Jupiter" as she said that it made me and Alpha more confused.
"Wait isn't Jupiter the same person as Zeus just with a different name?" surprising everyone it was Tod who answered Alphas question.
"Roman gods are just a different personality of the Greek gods their the same gods but act differently and when they are in a personality their children are that type of Demi-god"
Everyone stared at him shocked. It took about two minutes before he realized that we were staring at him at he looked kinda hurt" Hey I listened to Amber I'm not stupid" which I believed but he did have his moments.
"Anyway Alpha your not going to be going to this camp your going to San Fransico to Camp-Jupiter where you'll train with other Roman Demi-gods". That's when I knew our friendship would never be the same. Alpha will be miles away from us and Tod and I's cabins aren't even near each other. That's when I felt the tearing coming in but Tod beat me to it.
"What you do you mean he's not going to be near us" he said with a voice that someone has when their crying. Amber immediately tried to comfort him.
"Oh don't cry you guys can visit each other once a month when we have free weekends" but instead of helping him it made Tod feel worse. Just once a month for a weekend that means 12 times a month, we used to see each other 12 times a day. Then from her expression she remembered something" Oh wait if you spend a year at ether camp or complete a quest you get a Private class which meanssss you can visit each other every weekend" that still sucked I mean I doubt were going to go on a quest any time soon and we have to wait a year for the other option but its still better then only seeing each other 12 times a year for our whole life. After walking for about 10 minutes we stopped at the joust arena, which is just the size of a play ground and its just for sparing.
"WOW Awesome so people really fight here" said Tod clueless as ever. I took Riptide, the swords name not the game, and looked at its reflection. We both knew I'm not its owner and I will never be even though Percy officially gave it to me. Then behind I heard" Are we?" I turned around and saw Tod was looking at me.
"Sorry what did you ask" I kinda felt bad but Tod didn't seem to care.
" Oh that's ok I asked if you wanted to spar" I almost laughed but then I saw he was serious I answered trying to sound as nice as possible
"Are you serious ill kill you" yep that's me Mr. Sensitive. He looked hurt but only for a second then his expression was anger.
"Oh really well then you don't have a problem then Mr. Ultimate Sword Master" that's when we took out our swords and clashed me together. He swong a bunch of times but I blocked them all. A part of me felt like he was holding back knowing Tod maybe that's not the case. Then when I made my move he really didn't stand a chance. His sword flew in the air and my sword was at his throat, for a second I could of sworn he had a smile on his face but I didn't care I won. Amber had to break Tod from me.
"Alright Alright save it for Capture The Flag"
Tod asked her" Wait what's that"
Long story short its capture the flag but the cabins are split into two and your suppose to take the enemy's flag but here's the catch, you can use swords and whatever weapon you choose. So it's pretty much the coolest camp thing ever activity ever. And it's going to be our first and last one with Alpha since he's leavening at the end of the week.
After all the cabins and listening to Tod sing We Can't Stop 40 FREAKING TIMES
"IT'S OUR PARTY WE DO WANT, WE CAN DISS WHO WAN- wait is that MY cabin".
To describe his cabin is every haunted cabin in the woods in every movie every made. It's really creepy and old and the door knob is a skull. We all looked at Tod for his reaction
"This....is....."
"Tod I'm-
"AWESOME LOOK AT THIS COOL DOOR KNOB AND THIS STAUE OF SOMEONE GETTING TORTURED" yep once again ladies and Gentlemen TOD.
