I woke up with a jolt, sweat was soaking my bed. Again. I couldn't sleep, that dream kept on repeating itself in my head. Chiron said it would stop eventually, but I can't help but think even HE dosnt know why it won't go away. Demigod dreams are supposed to only happen once, but mine keep repeating... I crept over to the door of the big house, Yes I don't have a cabin. I'm unclaimed. Anyway, I snuck out the doors and rand quietly towards the forest.

I stepped through the woods. Normally a girl my age, 17, wouldn't EVER do this at night. Or alone. But Its the only thing to get my mind of that dream... Something tells me that tommorow won't be a normal day at camp. Trouble was comming. I ran without a noise to the cave of the Oracle, but Trey wasn't home so I stoped to think like I had the last ten nights. If I wasn't claimed yet, why did monsters attack me more than the kids of Zeus and Hades, or why could I vanish into thin air?

I felt a sudden urge to look to my left, when I did, I saw stereo glowing red eyes. Blood red eyes. The eyes of a wolf.

"why are you upset, child?" A voice asked in my head. It was the wolf's voice. Hunger the wolf's voice. I can communicate with wolves.

"Upset? I'm not upset. I'm just... I'm tired that's all." I lied. Hunger stared at me, then looked towards the horizon.

"Sunrise is comming soon, then I shall return to the pack, but for now, we hunt." Hunger replied. I knew what he meant, but I hadn't tried to do I that since the orphanage incident... but it has been seven years. I consentrated. Felt the world around me changing. Becoming larger as I became smaller. I opened my eyes to see hunger at my eye level, a little taller though. And where I stood was a fierce, silver wolf.
