The Rise Of The Titans Series: Kronos's Revenge (Book 1)

"Hello, Perseus Jackson," Krios smirked. As quick as a bird, Krios lunged for him, slamming his blade onto Percy's chest.

Pain scorched through him and Percy crashed to the ground. Percy lifted his hands from the ground, and he felt a familiar tug on his gut.

A wave of water crashed into Krios, "Wha....? What?" Krios screeched.

Water swirled around the Titan and water splashed into Percy's face.

"PERCY! Are you all right?" Annabeth called.

Annabeth ran forward to check on him.

"Yeah, thanks," Percy Gasped. Piper, Leo, Echo, Nico, Hazel, and Frank rushed after her.

Getting to his feet, Percy sprang forward into the hurricane which was making Krios drown
and swung Riptide, making a faint cut on Krios's shoulder.

"Arggggg!" Krios groaned, flailing as more water pressured him to the floor like the weight of the sky.

Percy grasped his sword and swung it like crazy.

"NOOOOO! MONSTERS, ATTACK!" Krios shrieked.

Monsters?

Percy growled with frustration and yelled, "Guys, distract the monsters! Let me deal with Krios!".

Piper nodded and unsheathed her dagger as a wave of Monsters charged into the clearing.

"Let YOU deal with me?" Krios hissed, "Deal with me?".

"Yes, deal with you, You've failed three times already, You'll fail again,"

Percy snarled and lashed out, cutting Krios in half.

"NEVER!" The titan hissed, but he crumbled to the floor. Percy willed the waves to stop and Krios turned into dust.

A long sword made of Stygian iron lay on the floor where Krios turned into dust.

"No wonder Hades wanted us to kill him," Percy murmured over the cries of battle.

The sword was Hades symbol of power, the sword of Hades.
