Kronos swiped the flat of the blade of his sword at Percy's feet. He laughed- a horrible, cruel metallic sound made Percy shiver. Percy slammed a wave of sea water at Kronos, hoping to hold him back for a little. The Titan Lord growled, stumbling a bit, but held his position.

There was a bolt of lightning, and it struck Kronos right on his chest, making him fall over. Jason got up from his position, his sword raised to the Titan lord's throat.

"You may be more powerful than me, but us, together, are more powerful than you," Jason growled.

Kronos spat at him and laughed again. "Pompous and arrogant fool you are!" He rapidly kicked Jason to the ground again with his free foot and got himself up again.

Piper lunged at Kronos, and tried to slash him with her dagger. Kronos grunted and batted Piper away.

"GO AWAY, FOOLISH DEMIGOD!" he bellowed, aiming his sword at Percy again. Percy slammed Riptide into Kronos and rolled under his weight. Kronos kicked Percy in the thigh, causing him to groan with agony and back away.

"Weak, eh? Trust me, Jackson, I am far from weak compared to you puny little demigods," Kronos said, then sinisterly smirked, and snapped his fingers. There was absolute silence. Percy listened dumbfoundly as the sound rang through the room.

Immediately after the sound faded away, there was a sudden burst of Titans that emerged from a doorway. The demigods were caught off guard, and tried to regain their positions.

Kronos smiled cruelly. "That should keep your friends busy, shouldn't it?" He sneered. He slammed the hilt of his sword at Percy's head, making him crash to the ground.

Percy's head throbbed with pain and his vision grew blurry. He could make out the huge figure of Kronos, standing over him with his sword pressed against his chest. There was a scream from somebody and Kronos was knocked backwards

Finally, his vision cleared and Percy saw Annabeth viciously attacking Kronos with her bronze dagger. He watched as she slashed and paired her enemy's blade with bravely, but Kronos managed to push her aside.

Anger pulsed inside Percy's chest, and he crashed into Kronos, sending him back. Kronos wailed with pain as Percy knocked him to the ground. Percy glared daggers at Kronos and send a wave of sea water at the Titan with a flick of his wrist.

"You haven't learned the lesson yet, haven't you, Jackson? I will not die, I will leave here ALIVE!" Kronos snarled, struggling to get up again.

"You are still getting your hopes too high." Percy growled, throwing himself at him. Kronos dodged immediately and Percy fell to the floor. Annabeth lunged into Kronos again and tried to slam her blade into his chest, but the Titan rapidly rolled away and got to his feet. Percy ducked under his legs and slashed Riptide at him, Kronos crashed to the floor, pain contorted his face.

Kronos got up and sprinted away yelling,"RETREAT!"

Retreat? Percy thought, amazed. Kronos had never sounded as frightened as that. Kronos scrambled away with the other Titans like cowards. Jason chased after them.

"Jason! Get back, we've won!" Piper yelled. Jason did not listen and continued to follow.

"Jason!" Piper bellowed, with a worried expression from her face. Percy turned his attention toLeo, who had freed Frank and Hazel. Frank slapped Percy in the back.

"You've saved us!" he said with delight.

"Ow! Yeah, it's okay, man, oh yeah, I thought you where praetor!" Percy said. He rubbed his back.

"Yeah, but Kronos attacked our camp and kidnapped us.... Anyways, Where's Jason?" Frank asked, frowning. Piper glanced worriedly at where the Titans went.

"He chased after them. Jason might be in trouble!" Piper interjected.

"Where is he?" Hazel questioned. Piper looked at where the Titans have exited. They looked at each other, and had a silent agreement to enter. There was Jason, lying in a dusty, golden, coffin.

"Jason!" Piper yelled, alarmed. Jason's eyes snapped open, glowing golden.

"STOP!" Percy hissed very un-Percy like. Piper stopped and glared at Percy.

"Kronos must've installed Jason's body into his!" Percy said.

"What?" Piper snapped. A booming laughter echoed through the large tunnel. "YES, MCLEAN,YOUR FRIEND IS RIGHT!" Kronos's voice rumbled out of Jason's mouth.
