Sister's
Delia
Delia helped Leo pack up the picnic, kissed him goodbye and ran to catch up with her siblings. She reached the back of the line just as they reached the pavilion. A few of the girls giggled when they saw her or winked at her- how could they have known where she'd been?
As she ate, she kept glancing over at Leo, smiling whenever she caught his eye or when he winked at her. The giggling around her told her that they weren't being very inconspicuous but she didn't care, she had Leo and she was proud to show it. They sat next to each other by the campfire, singing songs and laughing. Piper and Jason beside Leo were doing the same, but Annabeth sat next to Delia, looking sad. Her boyfriend had been missing for two months now. Delia almost felt guilty being with Leo around her.
After the best campfire of her life, Leo took her away from her siblings to be alone and kissed her goodnight before going back to his cabin. Delia jogged back to her siblings, grinning like an idiot.
Just when she was just about to enter the cabin. Piper pulled her aside for a walk.
"Congrats on you and Leo," Piper grinned.
"How did you-"
"Wood nymphs are terrible gossips" Piper explained. "Oh and don't listen to the others, think Leo's a bit weird. They're right of course, but it's a good type of weird. He's like the little brother I never had and you, well you are my sister aren't you? Point is, I've never seen two people so obviously meant to be. But what are you two going to do when we leave on our quest? It might be a full year before we make it back. If we make it back."
Delia bit back tears, she had thought about this so many times and every time she did it felt like a piece of her heart was chopped out and fed to a gryphon.
"Don't cry, we'll figure something out. You guys can keep in touch with Iris Messages. And until then you still have sbout 4 months together. I was stupid to mention it, I knew it would upset you." Piper hugged her tightly and led her back to the cabin.
Delia fell asleep almost instantly and this time her dreams weren't sad. They were creepy.
