Leo couldn't hold on anymore. He had to stop this pain and torture. Annabeth and Taylor couldn't help, at all. So, Leo gave up.


"I can't hold it anymore. I've gotta go... now." Leo said, dropping his things and running behind a large rock. He could hear one of the girls sigh and drop there things as well.
Ahhh...
"OK, let's go! " Leo picked up his pack and started walking, but the women didn't follow. He decided to check out the place he left them at.
The only thing he saw was there backpacks, and a shoe. It was Annabeth's. Great. Now, not only did he need to find Jason, but he needed to find Taylor and Annabeth.
"Guys? You there? This isn't really the right time for a joke!" He yelled, hoping they were still within earshot.
Leo reached for his tool belt and took out a screw driver. He carved a tree with a fire symbol, to mark where he's been. Leo walked off in a random direction, shouldering his backpack and holding his screwdriver, stopping now and then to carve into a tree.

It was almost sundown, and he hadn't found any sign of Taylor or Annabeth.
Leo sighed, and turned to around to where he left the girls stuff that he couldn't carry.

But soon, it seemed like all the trees had the same symbol that he put on only a few trees.
Then, Leo realized that every tree did have the symbol. Everywhere he looked, fire showed up on every tree.
Uh-Oh. Taylor appeared out of no where, and looked... scared. When she spotted Leo, she quickly ran over to him and hugged him.
"Oh, Leo! I thought you were dead!" She said dramatically.
"Yeah, I got scared you guys got fed up with me. Where is Annabeth?" Leo asked, letting go of Taylor.
"She's-" She never finished her sentence. When Leo looked down at her, she had a sword stuck through her stomach.
Not only that, but it went through her and into Leo.
Ouch. When the sword was pulled out of there bodies, Taylor fell immediately, showing who was standing behind her.
Annabeth.
Leo felt the spot where he was impaled, and then lifted up his hands. They were completely bloody.
"Wh... Why?" Leo asked before falling to the ground, next to Taylor.
Taylor is dead, Leo thought to himself. And Annabeth killed her. Taylor's eyes were looking at Leo, which was completely disturbing. Leo looked back at Annabeth, who was grinning.
"Now time for the rest of the group to parish." She stated, before stabbing him again in the chest, and walking away, leaving the knife in him.

Then, Leo felt warm as he closed his eyes.
