Summary
Alia has always been the girl left alone. She sits in the table with no-one there, she slumps in the farthest desk away from the teacher, she wanders home with no-one to talk to.
But what happens when she is constantly attacked by an unknown entity? Her dreams are ravaged, and she has to keep her distance from mirrors in fear she sees him again.
So, why is she instead dumped in a mystical camp full of people who speak to her on a regular basis instead of a mental hospital? And what about that quiet boy with the mismatched eyes?
Can she tell them her dark secret?
The Beginning
I sit in the farthest corner of the lunch room.
I'm in the dark, but it's how I like it. No-one sees me, no one seems to care...Do they even notice me?
I slink away into my thoughts, trying to ignore the happy hustling and bustling of everyday life. Honestly, I can't stand it.
I sigh, and stand up, slumping against the wall that steals my body heat away from me.
Why do I even bother? I think, sliding my way along the tiles, my black stringy hair hanging in front of my face. My black eyes flick back and forth across the room.
Watching.
Waiting.
Until I can catch someone off-guard.
