Stella drops me off at the hermes cabin, There seemed to be a party going on in there so I elected to avoid them by sitting down at the back of the cabin.
I brought out my favorite travel book. The demigod files.
I turned to the page where Rick Riordan interviewed the stoll brothers and get lost in the story.
Before I knew it a loud horn noise was blowing.
"Amber? Hey AMBER!! Where'd you go?"
I shove my book back in its bag and walk around the cabin.
"Here!" I wave to Katie who sighs and walks over to me.
"Come on. We're gonna go eat. "
I follow her to the mess hall and sit down with her. as soon as I sit get some food, and a drink (The cups are magic! just like in the books!) down everyone starts walking towards the fire I follow behind the line and send up a mental prayer to the gods, "Please claim me tonight" I regret that now.

So lets see, We all Ate and Everyone left me in their dust after they finished eating, like seriously the mess hall was empty as I got up
Someone came over from behind me,
"Hey, you the new kid?"
I nodded and turned around, I swear I had a heart attack,
IT WAS RICK RIORDAN!
He smiled and put his hand on my shoulder,
"So how do you like camp halfblood?"
I opened my mouth for a sec then closed it and thought for a while, then Answered
"Well for one thing Why isn't mr. D here? Where's Chiron, and Annabeth and Percy, and leo and piper and jason and the rest of the seven?" Rick Laughed
"Well lets see Mr. D is up at Olympus The seven are out on Vacation, And Chiron, Well I think He's out teaching archery," I Smiled Ear to ear and Sheepishly took out my copy of The Demigod files,
"Can you sign this please?"
He Took the book and signed it with a pen from his back pocket,
"Well I have Gotta Go," He Hands my book back "Lots to tweet, Even more to write" He then walks out of the mess hall, I wait a few minutes then I walk towards the campfire where everyone was just beginning to sit down
