The Daughter of Percy Jackson
Beckendorf
I turned around and met the sturdy, hard face of Beckendorf. He didn't have a scratch on him. He was more buff since the last time I saw him. His skin was slightly darker, and his expression was somewhere between shocked and angry.
"What the Hades? Beckendorf?" I said, rubbing my hand over his face to make sure he was real. "I thought you died on the Andromida!" Beckendorf pushed me out of the way and walked over to Selena.
"What's this?" He said, looking at Nico who was nursing Selena back to health. "Death Breath is your boyfriend now?" He said with disgust.
"Charles," Selena started. "How are you alive?" She got up and looked intently into his eyes.
"As hard as it may be to believe, I survived the explosion. Took me a while to get back, and..." He motioned to Nico. "And who's this little squirt?" He patted Nico Jr. on the head.
"That," Selena said. "Is my son." The look on his face was priceless.
"You... Have a kid? With who?" He slowly turned to Nico who was now blushing .
"Oh, you're dead!" He said, raising his hand, about to slap Selena in the face.
That was, until skeletons erupted from the ground and held Beckendorf back.
"Gah! What the-" He looked at Nico, who was now holding Selena's shoulders.
"You will not lay a finger on her!' He yelled. He waved his hand in the air, and the skeleton's pulled Beckendorf back, closer and closer to the cabins.
"What is happening? Where are they taking-" He was cut off when one of the skeleton's bit his hand.
"Stop talking." It hissed. Beckendorf stopped fighting the skeleton's and was carried into the Big House.
"Nico," I said, baffled. "That was amazing!" As I said that, Selena ran out of Nico's grasp and headed into the Aphrodite cabin.
"I got it." He said, walking over to the cabins.
"Annabeth," I said, picking up Annie. "Can you take Annie to cabin three?"
"Sure," She said grabbing Annie. "Why?"
I frowned. "I need to talk to Beckendorf."
