christmas surprise
It was winter break and Christmas was getting closer. Percy was at home in New York,with his mom and Paul,his step-dad.He liked the thought of meeting the Christams Eve with "complete family". He was helping his mom bake the blue cookies,which he loved so much. Paul was preparing presents for everyone,but every now and then Percy would notice something suspicious about him,but he would just smile and go on with work.
Finally, it was the Christmas night. Paul,Sally and Percy were celebrating together. His mom was laughing and Percy was having the time of his life. Although, they were having fun,somehow Percy felt that he was empty inside, like he wa missing something or someone very important and he knew who he was missing: Annabeth.
It was almost 12:00 at night,when Percy decided to go to his room,but suddenly Paul stopped him:
-"It's time to open your present,your mom already got hers and loves it."
Sally was smiling at her engagement ring.
-" um,okay." said Percy.
He looked at his present.It was a huge box, decorated with grey and blue papers and the biggest yellow ribbon he had ever seen. He hasitated.
After,some observation,he got closer,reached out his hand and pulled the ribbon. It suddenly opened and Percy fell on his back, with something on top of him,holding him tightly.
-"Whoa,what...what's goi-"
-"Hi, Seaweed Brain,missed me?"
Annabeth was on top of him smiling widely.
-"Annabeth? what?...but how?...i mean,why?..."
She chuckled.Paul and Sally left them alone.
-"It's Christmas Eve,i wanted to see you and Paul said you wanted to ,because you were trying too hard at everything,so he suggested this plan."
-"What..plan?"-he was still trying to catch up on things.
-" What do mean what?Can't you see? You just got me as your Christmas present. You better be grateful and take good care of me."
She was differrent somehow. More confident stunning,beautiful,but all that didn't matter,because she was there,with him. The light, ocean blue dress that she was wearing and her hair that was braded at her left shoulder,were making her even more breathtaking,than she already was. He had everything he wanted for Christmas.
-" I am and I will." he said and kissed her.
-" Merry Christmas,Seaweed Brain, i love you."
-" I love you too."-and they kissed again.

all this is supposed to happen after Paul askes Percy his permission to marry Sally. ( in my head,of course)...hope you enjoyed.:D
