The Cursed Ones

Vahl's POV

"Okay, I have this," I said holding up a necklace of shells. "Anything else we need?" We have collected shells, offerings, and some money. "Nope." Jazz said. Soon enough, we were traveling by water. Thats when I started to choke. "Lizzie!" I tried to yell,but it came out as air bubbles. I soon passed out. I saw Hades, talking to three people. He was auguring with them, and every now and then pointing at me. Soon enough, they faded. Nico appeared in front of me. "That was a close call Vahl, what happened?" "I apparently drowned." I replied. "Hmmm, well, Jazz was able to bring you back, but be more careful. Hades says that you need to survive for a bit longer." Nico said, starting to fade. "Wait, why? Nico! Nico! Why mist I live for a bit longer? What is going to happen?!?!" I yelled, then I jerked awake. "Oh thank Gods! We thought you were dead!" Jazz said, flicking water behind her. "I was, for a while." I said, standing up and shaking. "You okay?" Lizzie said,gripping my shoulder. "Ya, fine." But my bracelet told otherwise. It flashed SCARED and NERVOUS. "Okay, if you need anything, tell me or Lizzie." Jazz said, getting food out. "Actually, there is something." I said quietly. "What is it?" Lizzie asked. "Make sure I don't die." I replied. "Why?" Jazz asked. "Hades said so." I replied again, lying.
