The Cursed Ones

I woke up in darkness. I sat up and looked around. I was in some sort of tent. I was in a bed covered in blankets, a table was next to me with a golden goblet. I heard footsteps. I turned and a girl with blonde hair walked in.

"Hi. I'm Annabeth." I looked at her. "You aren't some monster that's going to surprise me and kill me are you?"

She smiled. "No. But you'd better watch out for the Hermes kids. They're pranksters." I stared.

"Hermes? You mean the Greek god Hermes?" Annabeth laughed. "Yep. And you better believe it too. Or they'll get mad."

"They? You mean all of them? Are they real?" I asked.

"Yes. They are. I'm a daughter of Athena. We haven't figured out who your godly parent is yet. Your sister is Jazz. Right?"

I sat up. "Jazz is she okay? We were attacked by some monster and she was tied up. Where is she?" Annabeth helped me up.

"She's okay. She's meeting some friends of mine." I looked at her. "Where?" She looked at me strange. "She's out in the strawberry fields with Percy. Come on. I'll show you."



"Lizzie!" Jazz said running towards me. I hugged her. "You were unconscious and and I didn't know what to do and then Annabeth and Percy came and. Oh. Sorry. I forgot. Lizzie this is Percy. Percy this is Lizzie."

"Hi." he said. I looked at him. His dark hair was swept to the side, his orange t-shirt was bedraggled and his sword was its hilt. "Hi." I said. He stared at me.

"You seem familiar."

"Do I?" I asked. "Wouldn't you have recognized Jazz first?" He shook his head.

"No. Not Jazz. You. I know you."

He paced, scratching his head. He stopped and snapped his fingers. "I got it. Dad said there were other kids of his, and at the time I thought he was teasing. I guess he wasn't. You two are my sisters."
