Everybody gathered at the amphitheatre and Chiron explained the situation to everybody.
“So who wants to lead the quest” Chiron asked
I was going to put my hand up but I was beaten to it by Amy Johnson
“Are you sure about this” Chiron asked her?
“Of course I am” She replied with confidence
“So, Rachel” he said “You should”
He didn’t need to complete the sentence because at the same time Rachel spoke in a voice which made it sound like there were many Rachel’s talking
“A daughter of Athena shall lead the quest”
“Along with the seven reunited”
“They shall cross the Mare Nostrum again”
“And journey to the land of Ulster”
“Another one shall join them in between”
“And they shall find the Golden Fleece”
“So” Leo said grinning “The seven shall reunite”
“Whatever” he replied
“I don’t think that you can choose who you want to go with now” Chiron told Amy
“Its okay” she said and she looked really happy that she had the opportunity to go on a quest with the most famous demigods of the century
“But who will join us in between?” Jason asked
“I don’t know” Chiron said “But we shall not over think prophecies, and I don’t think you shall have a transport problem”
“Of course not I have added two more rooms to the Argo II” Leo said
“You shall leave tomorrow morning” Chiron said
“But where do we go” Amy asked
“Denver” I said and explained what I saw in my dreams before.
We woke up early yesterday and went to board the Argo II outside Bunker 9. The ship was a little bit bigger but still looked the same with the head of Festus the dragon in the front.
“I didn’t miss this” Frank said as we boarded the ship
We took our old cabin with Amy taking the new room. I was actually glad that the seven had to reunite because I was sure that Amy would choose Annabeth and not me to go on this quest with her.
But I was sad because if the seven had to reunite it meant that the problem was going to be very big.
It didn’t take us much time to reach Denver and we had no trouble finding the place where Steven was because we saw 5 buses of the same kind leaving a huge warehouse which looked abandoned.
The buses were filled with many monsters and we had to go to see if the Golden Fleece was still there or not. We parked the Argo II in a park where nobody paid any attention to us.
Frank stayed back to take care of the ship while the rest of us walked in two groups to the warehouse to avoid unwanted attention.
“Are you sure about this” Annabeth asked me?
“Yeah, but why?” I asked her back
“You know because of Steven” she said
“Yes I am sure I will kill him as soon as I see him because he tried to kill you” I replied
We reached the warehouse and entered through the door and saw that there was nobody in the room, there were two rooms and we decided not to separate and entered through a door on the left which was a bad choice.
The room was as big as a hall and looked as if it was 50 years old; we saw a casket standing at the other end of the room and a boy standing right in front of it. The boy looked 14 and had black hair and was wearing jeans and a black shirt.
He looked at us just as we entered and I wanted to go there and kill him right now.
“Brother” he said “I missed you”
“I didn’t miss you traitor” I said as we started walking towards him.
Then the door behind our back opened and at least 30 demigods came running in and we knew that we couldn’t fight so many people.
They captured us and handcuffed us to some chains which were tied to the wall and we knew we couldn’t get out.
“Good work” Steven said to the demigods “You guys take the casket with the three buses left and I will come on the remaining bus after dealing with them”
A demigod came up to him and said “Can we leave you and be sure that you wouldn’t be soft on your brother”
“You doubt me” He replied and took out his sword and cut a wide gash in my chest
I tried hard not to scream and I controlled the pain as much as I could.
We watched as the rest of the demigods picked up the casket and went out to leave and Steven stayed behind.
As soon as the other Demigods had left Steven ran out to a room and bought some Ambrosia and nectar and gave the ambrosia to me and poured the nectar on my chest.
“Hey traitor why don’t you go and kiss Uranus’ Ass”
“DO I LOOK LIKE I GIVE A SHIT ABOUT URANUS” he shouted and Annabeth shut her mouth
He cut off my handcuffs and that was the opening I needed I picked him up and slammed him to the ground and took out riptide and made the same kind of gash in his chest that he had put in my chest.
But he couldn’t be like me and he screamed.
I cut off the handcuffs of the others and tied him to the wall.
“Percy, you’re making a mistake” he could barely speak because of the pain.
“And, why is that” I asked him
“Because I had to join him to survive and let you both survive” he said “I wanted to leave him and come back to camp but I couldn’t “
“And I am supposed to believe you” I said
“Don’t” he said “Don’t believe me just take me with you handcuff me, chain me do whatever you want but don’t leave me here”
“How about we kill you” Annabeth suggested and he shut himself up
“I had only two choices” I said “to let you two leave and get killed or to let you two leave and save myself”
He looked on the verge of crying I don’t know because of the pain or we were going to kill him but before I could say anything Amy interrupted.
“How about we take him to the ship and keep him in handcuffs the whole time and when we get back we shall let Mr. D take care of him”.
“Yes” Steven said “Yes, I love you Amy Adams”
“Johnson” she said
“She’s right” Jason said
We handcuffed Steven’s hands together and we started walking outside the warehouse and toward the ship.
“Can you give me some Ambrosia” Steven said “I’m going to die from blood loss”
Nobody replied and we kept walking towards the ship.
“You know where we have to go right?” he said
“Where” Leo asked
“Ireland” he replied “We sent the fleece there already”
“Leo” I said “Set course for Ireland”
