The Rising of The Skies 2

“CURSE YOU” were the first words I heard when I woke up. The voice was of a girl but I couldn’t see who because I passed out again because of the terrible pain in my back.
I woke up the second time in a very comfortable bed even my back wasn’t hurting much and I tried to get up but I just couldn’t.
I realized I was in a cavern but a very-very beautiful one because it was covered with crystals. I saw a girl with caramel hair which was braided over one shoulder, dark almond-shaped eyes and a milky face. She had a peach-colored complexion and pouty lips.
She was wearing a white sleeveless Greek dress with a low circular neckline trimmed in gold.
“Who are you?” I asked
“My name is Calypso” She replied
It suddenly dawned on me that who she was and I was really shocked because I thought that Leo had freed her.
“You are in Ogygiya” she said
“I know where I am” I said still shocked “I thought Leo freed you”
“Leo” she said the name as if she wanted to kill him
She turned and walked away angrily and I got up and didn’t have much problem walking because my back was almost healed.
I found Calypso on the beach overlooking the sea and I went to her said
“My name is Steven Jones, Son of Poseidon”
“You are a brother of Percy Jackson” She said with sadness in her voice
“Yes, I am” I said “So how do I leave?”
“You just say I want to leave Ogygiya and a raft will appear” She replied “You should stay until your back is completely healed then you can go I have made you some clothes”
I stayed for two days more (I think) and I talked to Calypso a lot about my life and all the things that I had done and when my back was healed I wasn’t sure If I wanted to leave.
I was standing on the beach ready to leave and was wearing a white cotton shirt which Calypso had made me when she came up to me.
“I’ll miss you” I said
“Me too” she said as she kissed me on my lips “You don’t have to leave”
I was thinking the same thing because I had no important task. Everybody treated me like an outcast at the Argo II but I decided to go because I knew that I would play an important rule if we had to defeat Uranus.
“I have to go” I said “It’s my destiny”
She looked hurt and didn’t reply but I knew that I had to leave so I said “I want to leave Ogygiya”
And a magical raft appeared on the sea and I boarded it and I said “Take me to the Argo II”
The raft started moving and I looked back at the crying face of Calypso but I didn’t say anything and after what seemed an hour I saw the Argo II and I climbed the ship from the back without anybody seeing.
I went to the front and saw everybody except Leo who was repairing the ship on the deck.
“Miss me?” I asked
Everybody turned their attention on me and were very-very surprised.
“But how did you survive?” Amy asked me
I leaned into Amy and whispered in her ear “I’m immortal”
“But seriously how did you survive?” Annabeth asked me
“I survived because I am immortal” I told them
“I need to rest” I said and turned around to go to my room when Jason said
“Dude, I know you and Percy are brothers but why are you both wearing the same shirt”
I looked at Percy and saw that he was wearing a white cotton shirt just the same one which I was wearing and Percy noticed it too and he understood what had happened to me but the others were still surprised.
“I stole this from a mall” I said to everyone “I didn’t know Percy would be wearing it otherwise I would have stolen something else”
Everybody didn’t buy the story but they didn’t bother me again
“Do I have to be handcuffed again?” I asked them
“I don’t think so” Percy said
“How long was I gone” I asked them
“5 days” Amy replied “We will reach Ireland by tomorrow”
I went to my room and took a nap till the evening until I was woken up by a sound coming from upstairs I went up and saw everybody fighting with some demon like birds and I just took a chair and sat down and no bird bothered me.
“Why aren’t you helping” Frank asked me as he changed into a lion and clawed a bird
“I can’t use weapons on this ship and I don’t know where my sword is”
“It’s downstairs in the armory” he replied
“And why should I help you?” I asked Frank
“Because I’M NOT KILLING YOU” he shouted and I went down to get my sword because I didn’t want to be eaten by a Frank lion.
I went back upstairs and changed my drachma back into a sword and started slashing at the Keres (demon birds) and I realized I had last used my sword when I was being trained by the Demigods at Uranus’ place.
Within minutes all the birds had changed into dust and we were back to normal.
“How did you do that?” Percy asked me because the last time he saw me he was way-way better than me and now he was only better than me.
“There are advantages of staying with one of the oldest Gods” I replied
We reached Ireland at night and we saw some monsters going into a warehouse so we parked the Argo II in a park not far from that building and we had to decide who has to go and who will stay behind to take care of the ship.
“It’s obvious” Amy said “Steven stays and I hope we can trust him enough to take care of the ship”
“I’m not staying in this ship” I told her
“Well you have to” Amy replied in an angry manner
“You can’t stop me” I said
“Yes, I can” she replied
“Why don’t you try” I told her and started walking towards the side to get off but I had a feeling that my leg was cut and I fell on the floor face first.
I looked back and saw that Amy had used her dagger on my leg to trip me and cut a scratch in my leg
‘You made a mistake” I said as I took out my sword
“I don’t think so” she said and I was inspired by her courage because I thought that she would stand no chance in a fight between her and me
“Nobody will stop me” I told everyone “I won’t hurt her much and if I lose I will stay back”
I swung my sword and it met Amy’s dagger I pushed it to the side but she returned the strike and I ducked right in time to avoid getting my head cut off it was a balanced fight because I wasn’t trying to hurt her but she was trying to kill me.
After some strikes I ducked her strikes and got myself under her hand put my sword on her neck and got behind her back and pulled her closer to me so that my face was just next to her but my body was behind her.
“You should try harder” I told her and she pushed me back and she tried to use her dagger to hit me but I hit the hilt of her dagger with my sword and her dagger flew out of her hand.
‘So that settles it I will go” I said and nobody argued
“I’ll stay behind” Leo said “I have some work to do”
We all walked towards the entrance of the warehouse and saw no monsters there so we kept moving inside and we entered the warehouse and we were surrounded because there were many demigods there.
“SEE” I said loudly “You didn’t trust me Zach but I lead all of these fools here”
“Okay, you’re right” said Zach who was a blonde guy with many scars on his face
“That’s why I didn’t want him to come” Amy muttered
“Now where’s the urn I have to put it in the casket or something right” I said
“Yes, you have to” said a Dracanae
“So give it to me” I said “And keep these demigods like this they aren’t foolish enough to attack and I have to say something to them”
I walked towards Annabeth and leaned in and said in her ear “Run at my mark do not stop for me, take the fleece and now slap me” I put my hand on her hip and she pushed me and slapped me
I took the urn and started walking towards the casket and just as I was about to reach it I threw the urn into the fire and a whole wave of people were shocked at first but then they attacked me
“RUN” I shouted and the 8 demigods took the Golden Fleece and ran away and I took out my sword and ran at the monsters.
