What Now?

I swayed uneasily back and forth in front of Piper's door. I really didn't know what to say. She was like an expert of love, she is the daughter of love. Like literally. I raised my hand in a fist almost knocking her door, but then stopped, I had no experience. I turned around and took one step but then a small voice on the other side of the door peeped, "Please don't go." I literally died. I turned around and put my hand on the knob, took a deep breath and turned it. I looked at Annabeth who wrapped her knees on her bed, a box of tissues sat right next to her. I walked in awkwardly and sat next to her, adjusting myself to try and comfort her. But how? "Hazel, I don't understand. Annabeth was a close friend, she stole my guy. I loved Jason, so much, I dreamed we'd grow up," she breathed in and out gasping and quivering because she was crying so hard. "Oh come here." I rested her head on my lap and patted her hip. I started to stroke her hair. "What do I do next?" Piper laughed and looked up at me. I looked down at her and said, "Is it bad that I Googled 'how to help a friend with a broken heart?'" Piper laughed and sat up. I grabbed a tissue and wiped her eyes. "Boys are really stupid, especially Jason. He doesn't know what he's going to be missing." There was an awkward pause and Piper spoke up, "You know what I think it's time for?" The question actually pondered me, "For me to go to Girly School Prep?" Piper laughed. "No," she snorted, then I began to laugh, " I was thinking a girl's night out?!" We laughed hysterically on her bed until we cried. "Really though!" I smiled and nodded my head, "Sure!" She slipped on her shoes and we headed out of her door. "We'll just have to tell Leo to fly the Argo down." I smiled deviously, "I know a better way."
