What Now?

Jason, Annabeth, and I looked at the unconscious Leo laying on the floor. "So Percy, who's this Calypso?" I looked at the floor, "A friend?" I murmured. Annabeth threw the serving tray at me and stomped off. Hazel and Piper came back and rushed off to Annabeth. Frank slowly walked off awkwardly and Jason did as well. I then dragged my feet up to the Argo II. I looked over the edge of the Argo II off into the sunset. Memories of Calypso drifted in my mind, but didn't care about her, Annabeth was my life. Piper joined me on the deck. "How's Annabeth?" I asked already knowing the answer. Piper gave me a look. "She's doing what any other girl would do." I smiled, "And what is that?" She smiled back, "You don't want to know." I again looked at the sunset. The wind picked up a bit and rustled my hair. I didn't completely look but out of the corner of my eye, I could tell Piper was looking at me.

She took a step closer and I awkwardly tried not to notice, this was awkward. She leaned in and kissed me. First on the cheek and then she moved onto my lips. The bad thing was I didn't stop her. But then I did. "What are you doing?" I asked between breaths. She stopped and stared, "I'm so sorry." she cupped her face with her hands and ran off. I then out of confusion jumped off the Argo and into the water hundreds of feet below.
