A Quest Of Los Dioses-The Land Far Away (Leo Valdez)

Zeus said "There will be riddles you have to solve that will all give you clues on how to complete the quest, only one thing is sure, every single challange in this quest will be deadly, you fail, you die"

Leo who was facing the gods once more was unable to stop the shiver going through his spine.

Apollo told him, suprisingly looking quite serios "Your quest will start as soon as my Oracle has given you the first riddle, I will instruct her to link her mind with yours so you will be able to hear her if you are far away and she gives you another riddle"

Leo said slowly "So I must go back to Camp half blood first to talk to Rachel dare?"

Apollo nodded.

Ares suddenly said with a smirk "Word of warning, their is a bit of chaos back at Camp, try not to be seen"

Leo blinked at Ares, why was the god of war trying to help him?

Before anyone could say anything Zeus then boomed "Go then Demigod, begin the quest of the gods"

Leo felt a strange feeling of beeing sick then everything went black as he was transported back to Camp Half blood.

Hespeastus watched his son go then said to Ares "Why did you tell him that? If he tries not to be seen they'll only belive he did the murder!" (You'll only understand this if you've read Jason Grace or Nico's story in the series The Far Away Land)

Ares smirked at Hespeastus "Exactly"

Leo groaned as he sat up, looking around he relised he was on the outskirts of camp half blood.

Careful to hide behind the tree's Leo made his way inside.

It all seemed strangly quite...

There was a tension in the air that had never been there before...

What had happened while he was gone?

Leo hid behind some tree's and the behind the Cabins.

Leo slowly made his way to the Cave.

He almost was spotted by a girl from Aprodite who was speaking to a boy of Apollo?

Leo reconised both of them but he could only remember the boy of Apollo's name, Jake.

Leo snuck past them.

Then he finally entered the Orecles cave and called out "Rachel? Where are you?"

"Leo? What are you doing here?" He heard his friend gasp from behind him.

Leo jumped in surprise as he turned around to see Rachel looking at him confused and maybe slightly wary?

Leo said "The gods told me to come to you?"

Rachel relaxed at hearing that and asked "Why-?"

Then she let out a gasp, her eyes going a strange glowing green colour as the oricle spirit inside her made itself known.

Her voice was deep and mystical as she said the first riddle..

"Go towards the west. Towards the coast. Where you will meet your first test. Where you will meet the sands hoast. It will pull you under if it can. Don't bellow. Don't listern to the blind man. Or you may end up a dead fellow. Beware. All is not as it seems. Danger sleeps under there. Where no one will hear your screams"

With that lovely riddle, Rachel fell to the floor, unconscios.

Leo filed away the riddle, deciding to think about it, once he wasn't in camp.

He also decided it was best not to wake her so she didn't ask any questions and tiptoed out of the cave, though for a few seconds Leo swore he heard crunching of feet from behind him, as if there was someone else with Rachel in the cave but it soon disapiered and Leo decided to ignore it.

He crept along the cave, hiding when he saw Nico and Jason suddeny rush into the cave, he wondered why they looked so pale and why they looked so rushed.

Leo didn't realise that the unconscios Rachel was now dead and maybe the footsteps he'd heard from behind him as he'd left the cave may have been worth listerning to after all...
