Left 4 Dead: the Cole Protocol

Jason's P.O.V.

"Step back!" I yelled to Annabeth as one lashed out and nearly ripped her face off. I pulled out my golden coin and flipped it in the air, turning it into a sword. I stabbed one in the gut and pushed it into two more, making them stumble.

"Leo, light them up!" Annabeth cried as the brainless brain eaters burned. More and more came out of no where, closing in on us.

"Grab on to me!" I yelled. Annabeth and Leo clung to my body as I gravitated upward slowly. "How much do you weigh?" I asked Annabeth, getting a glare back. I dropped down on afire escape ladder and climbed up to the top level. I pulled down the ladder and climbed to the roof with Annabeth and Leo behind me.

"What the hell are those things?" Leo asked, flickering his hands with fire. I looked over the edge of the building. There was at least one hundred zombies crowding the streets, all hungry for our flesh.

"We could try and run across the rooftops." Annabeth suggested, pointing towards a set of sky scrapers in the backround. They were much larger than The building we were on too of.

"It's a destination with a view point. Maybe we could see where we are at." I said as I started walking on the roof towards the sky scrapers. "Leo, where did the other half of the ship go?"

"I tried to use calibrate an iris message as a type of portal... it worked slightly. The portal collapsed on itself and broke the ship in half. It landed us somewhere in Tennessee. I don't know what happened to the other end of the ship." Leo sighed. "I destroyed the Argo."

"Hey, you did what you could. Now let's-" Annabeth was cut off by a large explosion on the street below us. A jet flew nearby; and it swirled right back and fired two more. It was doing a bombing run over the city.

And the next missile it fired was heading straight towards us.
