I didn't know where I was running to, I just knew that I had to get away. I had to leave.
I ran through the bustling streets, ignoring the friendly waves and greetings offered to me by people I couldn't recognise through my tear-blurred sight.
I ran through the River Tiber without a second thought to the already chilly weather.
I ran through the stone tunnel that lead to the outside world.
I ran through the lanes of traffic without a care to my safety. I was already as injured as I could get. They couldn't hurt me.
I ran into the trees, I ran through the trees.
Like I did so long ago, I ran until I was too exhausted to run any further. Then I sat down and cried. I just cried.
What's the use in being strong when you're so weak?

Just incase you haven't already figured it out, Kerri suffers from depression and anxiety issues which is why she keeps freaking out about stuff. Her character is based on my friend who also has issues with this so... yeah. But I am going to give her a happy ending because if anyone deserves one then it's her!I find it a little difficult to write about the depression side of things but I do my best. I find the anxiety pretty easy though... not that I have issues with it or anything...
Anyway, sorry I didn't update yesterday, I didn't get a chance since my mum made me clean the house because our family's visiting today. Ugh! Great way to spend a day off school! *collapses on floor and dies*
