I can't believe dad is making me go on this stupid hiking tour. It's the middle of summef in Manhattan and its freaking.hot. Instead of going on a cruise to mexico, we take a plane to Manhattan. I know right!

I can't even hear the tour guide anymore, so i just decide to wander around for a while. I can see the hotel from where i'm standing so i'll be fine.

As i walk up the hill, i see a bench at the top. In my mind, Bench=Rest.
so i decide to go up there.

the closer i get, the more i can clearly read the faded words on a sign next to the bench. Spirit of Delphi Strawberries. Go figure. I fish around in my pocket for a while, and find a dollar. Mabye i could buy myself a snack?

what happens next i swear i'm not making up. When i look at the sign again, the words have changed. It noe reads Camp Half-Blood. That sounds like some kind of military camp or something. I don't know why, but i walked past the sign, snd was met with quite a scene.

Then, all of a sudden i hear a thwak, and a sharp pain pierces me in the chest. Everything starts getting fuzzy, and before i hit thd ground, arms catch me.
