Dear Fanfiction

Dear Fanfiction,

In my leave of absence, I have noticed many, many things.
FIRST OF ALL.

The fanfictions. OH MY GODS, THE FANFICTIONS.

Grammar, PEOPLE! GODS. Seriously, can people use spell-check from time to time? This is a perfectly normal human race of mostly teenagers, most of which DON'T have disabilities!

PLOT. URGH. I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO START ON THIS ONE.

Big three children need to be DIFFERENT and NOT OVERPOWERED. Put THOUGHT into your characters. They don't even HAVE to be BIG THREE!

Here's some advice: Make your character's personality, and CHOOSE THE GODLY PARENT ACCORDINGLY. So that you make sure they MATCH.

And STOP MAKING RELATIVES OF CANON CHARACTERS THAT DON'T MAKE SENSE.

My gods. This is why I lost interest in this site. This is why I use fanfiction.net.

Honestly, it's not that the people are bad. I've made great friends here. But seriously, SOME PEOPLE need to STEP UP THEIR WRITING GAME.

You know, if you WANT good writers to start using this site, you've got to improve your own writing. GET A BETA-READER FOR EIRENE'S SAKE. Have someone read your work who will NIT-PICK and point out EVERYTHING.

My gods. This generation is hopeless.

I CAN'T EVEN FIND A WORTHWHILE FANFICTION.**

Honestly, if you want to see some examples, go to fanfiction.net and READ. I swear, they have fanfictions there that are TEN TIMES better than the stuff I see here.

**That is not true. I've seen some pretty amazing ones here in my time. The current ones that are being written, however, have lowered in standard from the ones I used to read.

This little rant does have some truth to it. However, most of it is for humorous purposes, and I really hope no one gets offended by this.
