Percabeth One-shots

Percy thought that if he had to sit still for another minute he was going to lose his mind. However the pain from his broken arm reminded him otherwise. Then he began to blush a little as he remembered how he broke it and why he was in the mortal hospital anyway. Jason was sitting across from him with his head hung in shame while Grover, Leo and Frank were awkwardly standing around the doctor's room.

"So, Percy, how are we are going to explain this to the ladies?" Leo asked.

"Yes, Seaweed Brain, how will you explain this to us?" the familiar voice of Annabeth Chase said behind them. Percy turned to see his girlfriend and mom shaking their heads.

"Hey," Grover said. "Where are the others?"

"They’re in the lobby. Perseus Jackson, how did you break your arm in three different places?" Sally said.

Leo took this as his time to shine. After laughing for the tenth time about the whole thing. "So we were all skateboarding and Jason and Percy got this idea that they could do some sort of trick. Frank and Grover told them no. I pulled out a camera and here," Leo passed them the camcorder from earlier.

Percy could here Frank and Grover shouting at them that it was a bad idea. He could see by the girls' faces from the video that they agreed. In his defence, ramping off of the old abandoned sixty foot building seemed okay and easier than fighting monsters. He could pinpoint when Jason was ushering Percy to go first. And, the best part, Percy could pin point when he slipped and landed on the ground.

Leo: This is going to be good

Frank: Or end badly

Grover: Jason! Percy! This is a bad idea!

Jason: Oh, come on!

Percy: Less dangerous than monster fighting!

Leo: Who’s going first?

Percy: I wi-AAAHH!

-loud crash and thud-

Frank: Oh my gods, Percy! Jason, why didn't you catch him?!

Jason: I panicked!

Leo: HAHAHA

Percy: -mumbling- I think I broke my arm

Grover: Dang, it looks bad. We'll nee- LEO TURN THE CAMERA OFF!

Leo: Ladies and gentlemen, the great Percy Jackson brakes his arm by challenging
Jason to a skateboard competition.

Frank: Valdez!

Jason: Dude!

Grover: !Tu es loco!

Percy: My arm!

Leo: I regret nothing!

Annabeth began to laugh and Sally just shook her head and left with the camera with Grover, Frank, Jason and Leo in tow. Annabeth went over to admire Percy's sling.

"A sixty foot building?"

“It seemed like fun then.”

“Seaweed Brain.”

"The one and only."

Annabeth smiled. "How long does it need to be like that?"

"About six weeks. Don't laugh."

She kissed him and then pulled his good hand to get him on his feet. "Fat chance. You'll never live this down."

Percy kissed her again. "Like everything else."

They walked out of the doctor’s room, hands intertwined.
