Percabeth One-shots

I was waiting outside my school on a bench for Percy. He was going to pick me up and take me to the movies. I was looking forward to it and I subconsciously fixed my grey tee shirt and patted my denim capris. I never cared about my looks before, guess Percy had that affect on me. I decided to pull a book out and read, when everyones favorite mortal version of Hera came into view. I prayed to the gods to give me patience because if I asked for strength I may need bail drachmas with that. Julie was a skinny girl with short burnet hair and ice blue eyes. She thinks she runs this school. I told her to piss off. Of course, she made her way over to me and caused a scene.

"Hello Annie, what are you up to?" she asked. I didn't look up from my book.

"Nothing. Waiting for my boyfriend."

She pushed the book down and looked me in the eyes. "You have a boyfriend?"

Here we go, I thought to my self as I closed and put the book away. I stood up and glared at her causing her to flinch a little. Good. "Yes, I have a boyfriend."

"Your lying. No one would date you. Not when I'm available."

"Do you mean you or your legs?" I asked. The crowd forming around us snickered and giggled.

"Oh, you think your so smart?"

"I know I'm wise."

"Well, you should be wise enough to know who the better girl is here," she said with triumph.

I was about to say something when I caught a glimpse of Percy. He was helplessly looking around for me. Idea time. I smirked at Julie, this was going to be good. "Lets play a game. See that boy over there? With the sea green eyes and raven hair? If you can get him to go out with you, I'll admit your the better girl."

"Oh, you are so on! I get a hunk and a confession from you? Your on," she said. I folded my arms as she went off to Percy. The formed crowd was now waiting for the outcome of this pretty little game. Julie went up to Percy and gave him a seductive smile. My Seaweed Brain just gave her a hand wave.

"Hi there handsome."

"Uh, hey."

She leaned in closer and Percy took a step back. "Ah, nervous? I don't bite."

"I seriously hope you don't."

"Good. Now, what's a hunk like you doing here?" she was trying to get close to him, but Percy would just keep backing up.

"I'm looking for someone," he was getting annoyed and awkward.

"Oh, well whoever it is can wait right?" she was now leaning in towards Percy, despite the fact that he kept leaning back. "Why don't you and me go get something to eat and chill?"

"I'm flattered, but I'm picking up my girlfriend."

Julie looked hurt. "Who is it? I'm sure I'm way better than her."

Percy took a step back and stared at Julie like she was the minotaur. "Um, no. Not by a long shot. My girlfriend is the smartest, most beautiful person I've ever seen. She keeps my stupid actions in check so I don't end up killing myself. I'd do everything for her. Speaking of her, do you know a tall, athletic, intelligent, blonde, stormy grey-eyed girl named Annabeth Chase?"

Julie's face was priceless. I shouldered my bag and made my way over to them. I linked my arms around Percy's neck and kissed him. He put his arms around my waist and deepened the kiss a little. When we pulled away, I tilted my head and faced Julie.

"Julie, this is my boyfriend, Percy. Percy, this is Julie."

"We've met," he said.

"I...you...he's...UGH!" Julie stomped off steaming mad.

Percy spun me around a little bit and kissed me again. "Thanks for saving me," he said.

"Any time Seaweed Brain," I said with a smile. He set me down and we walked hand in hand to his car. I felt a little bit guilty for using Percy in my game, but I knew I would never lose with him.
