The DaVinci Files

I never said my life was easy, actually it isn't even close. My best friend Frank and I where walking home from my High school. We walked past an ally and saw something glowing. Being the immature 15 year old we are we went to go play with it.
"Wow, what is that?" Asked Frank.
"I have no idea."
As we approached it the object seemed to be on fire.
"Weird" Frank claimed.
It's... it's a sword"
Who in modern times uses a sword?"
I picked it up stupidly thinking it would burn me. To my surprise it didn't hurt at all.
What the hell!" Frank elaborated,
Right as Frank said that a giant chicken lady came and kicked me right in the stomach.
I did the first thing that popped into my ADHD brain. I swung. As soon as i made contact with the Chicken lady she turn to dust. Confused I looked at Frank.
"Run" I said.
We both sprinted to my apartment and closed the door. My mom ran into the living room to find me and Frank leaning against the door.
"Wh-What happened" My mom stuttered.
"We were mugged in an ally way up the street Ms. DaVici." Frank said.
"By who?"
"I think its more like 'by what.'"
"What do you mean?"
"It was a Harpie." I interrupted
"What?" Frank said
"Half-women, half-chicken."
"Oh no, this can't be happening" My mom said.
"What mom?" I said.
"I'll explain later get in the car"
Frank and I didn't ask questions we hopped in a car and my mom explained on the way over there.
"Do you boys know about the Greek Gods, you know Zeus, Hades Athena, and them?"
"Yes." Frank and I said simultaneously.
"Well those are real, and sometimes they have children with mortals called demigods."
Frank and I let that sink in.
"Your father Seth, He is a god, and so is your mother Frank."
We sat in the car quietly until my mom pulled up next to a hill.
"Mom, What is this place?" I Asked
"The only safe place for people like you." She said. "Camp Half-Blood."
