The new Goddess

Finn looked at my like I was crazy. I couldn't blame him. I was this strange girl that had lived her whole life in an orphanage and didn't know anything about herself except for her name. I didn't even know my last name or my age! How emberrassing!
'I guess it's a mistake.' I said. But I was really sure I had seen them before. 'I mean, well, you know, maybe some look a likes or something?' I only made it worse. He looked at me like I was crazier than crazy and than started to laugh. 'Yeah,' he said, 'everyone makes mistakes.' He didn't look convinced. We walked to the 'Big House', they call it that because, well, it's really big. It was yellow and it looked like a really happy house, but when you came close you could feel some unconfortable aura. There was a guy being half horse half human. Why didn't this suprise me? He had half long brown hair and a little beard. He wore a t-shirt with "Centaur of the year!" on it. He looked at Finn and then at me. 'Well, well, who's this new girl?' He asked. 'I'm Alex.' He looked at me and asked Finn: 'Has she already been claimed?' 'No sir, she arrived this morning. Maybe tonight at the campfire?' Finn answered. The centaur nodded. 'I'm Chiron, by the way. Nice to meet you.' Then he walked away without saying anything else. Why wasn't I confused or suprised when they told me about the gods and the monsters and everything? It felt like already knowed they were still here.
Finn showed me everything at camp. They had a lot of cool places, like the swordplay arena, the woods, the canoe lake, the archey place and lots more. Finally Finn said that he had to go. 'Try to do some things, find out were you're good at. Maybe swordplay? If you can defeat a monster with a scissor, that has to be a piece of cake!' He smiled. 'Thank you.' I said. 'I'll try swordplay. See you soon?' 'Yeah, we'll meet at dinner. Later.' 'Later.'

I walked to the swords and grabbed one that looked nice. It wasn't perfect, but it was good enough. There were a lot of targets. I runned to one of the poppets and sliced it in pieces. I tried some other targets and it was awesome! I really liked swordplay. I was just about to kick some puppet's ass when I found out that people were staring at me. I stopped immediately. People looked suprised. I started blushing. Some guy walked to me and said: 'Wow, you're really good! The gods may know what you could do with a good balanced sword! Where did you learn fighting like that?' 'Ehm,' I said, 'nowhere, I didn't even know I could do this.' 'Are you claimed yet?' 'No.' 'Well, maybe you're a new Ares kid!' For some reason I wasn't happy about that idea. I didn't want to fight everything. I putted the sword away and walked as fast as I could out of the arena. I decided to do something peacefull, so I went to the canoe lake. The water was so beautiful! I didn't know why but water always made me feel happy and confortable. The sun made some shimmer in the watter. Gee, I wanted to swim! Instead, I went to the canoes, just like the other kids, I didn't want to look weird. I shared my canoe with a girl namen Emily. She was from the Athena cabin and was really nice. She talked a lot about the Greek gods and about the demi-gods (us). She knowed everything! I knew that Athena kids were the smartest, but whoa, this was amazing! 'So... Do you know who this Percy Jackson guy exactly is?' I finally dared to ask her about it. For a second she looked suprised. Then an ocean of words followed. (This Percy dude had done a lot of things). 'He was AMAZING! What do I say, he IS amazing!' She talked about all his victories and how cool he was, but when she started talking about Annabeth, she went even more crazy. 'Annabeth is also from the Athena cabin. It's so cool! She's my hero! Percy is amazing, but he couldn't have done it without her.' She told all the victories again but than with the parts were Annabeth was the hero. 'Well yeah, they sound really cool, but what do you know about their personal life? I mean their life after all the wars?' She looked a little dissapointed that I interrupted her story, but than she followed: 'I don't know exactly... They married a couple of years after the war. They've got, uhm, two or tree children. It's a little vague. But the most important is that they're a happy family now.' 'What do you mean with: "It's a little vague?"' 'Well, it's just not clear if they have two or tree children, thats all.' I decided to stop talking about it.
