The new Goddess

While I was telling my story I kept thinking about the things I'd seen when Id touched Finns scar. I couldn't look the same way at it anymore. The problem was I couldn't talk with him about it because I wasn't supposed to know.
Now the hardest part of my story came. The part about Mathew. When I told about him I concentrated so hard on it so I wouldn't think about Finn. It seemed unfair to Mathew that he wouldn't get all my attention when I talked about him. But it also seemed unfair to Finn to just not think about him and think about another boy.
I had to tell the Mathew part three times because every time I tried my voice didn't work anymore.
When I told them about falling in the hole Abby wanted to know how we survived and that was really awkward. Finn tried to hide it but I could see he really didn't like the idea of me and Mathew using our shirts as a parachute.
I told them everything and eded with tears in my eyes after telling them about Mathew sacrificing himself for me.
'Maybe,' Abby said, 'maybe he isn't dead. If he is a Demi monster, the monster wouldn't kill him right? Gods also don't kill demigods. Most of the times.'
'But he betrayed his family to save me.'
'About the woman who wanted to have you.' Finn said. 'I think I had a dream about her.'
'And you're telling that now?!'
'Yeah... Sorry...'
'Go on'
'Well she was talking with a man and then she left.'
'Thats all?'
'All I can remember.'
'Do you remember what she looked like?'
'No.'
'Great.'
I sat back against the wall and saw Tess and Callum coming out of one of the hallways. The walked close to each other and I could be imagining it but where they holding hands? Probably not because Tess wasn't the kind of girl to do that.
They sat next to us and told us they found a way where they could feel the wind.
'That has the be close to an exit right?' Callum said
'I think so.' Finn said. 'Lets go. There's no reason to wait any longer.'
Everyone got ready and Finn helped me up. He didn't smile and tried to avoid looking at me. Why? What had I done wrong?
