Who Am I?
Nico's POV
Nico POV
Nico sat in an English class taught by Paul Blofis, Percy's Sep-father, in 6th period, board. For a demigod with ADHD and dyslexia, that wasn't surprising. Neither was the fact that ancient greece and latin (the latin teacher was well surprised when nico started to talk in fluent latin to her) was easier to read and write than english. So, naturally, English was the most pointless lesson on the timetable.
He looked over at Percy, he hated this lesson as much as him. Next to him, Annabeth tried hard to look as if she enjoyed this lesson. As smart as she is, she is also dyslexic.
When Nico looked at the board to read the assignment on the board, to him, it looked like this:
OWH MA I
RIWTE TA LAETS EON ISDE FO A4 BUTOA OWH UYO RAE. UYO VAHE 40 NUMTISE.
After concentrating harder, nico found out that it actually said:
WHO AM I
WRITE AT LEAST ONE SIDE OF A4 ABOUT WHO YOU ARE. YOU HAVE 40 MINUTES.
Nico side mentally. Who was he? Who was he? Then he wrote, in ancient Greece
To hades, i am a disappointment
To the gods, i'm not welcome
To greek demigods, i'm the odd one out
To the roman demigods, i am the spy no one noticed
To monsters, i am a tasty, powerful demigod
To kronos, i could of been an ally, but now a nuisance
To gaea, i am bait
But to percy, i am the little brother he never had
To thalia, i am someone to tease, in a good way
To hazel, i am someone who gave her the second chance she never got
To jason, i am not as cold as i look
To sally, i am another son
Nico looked at the page. He sighed; this would be the hard bit, writing in english. He concentrated hard and changed it so morals wouldn't get confused. Now it read:
To my father, i am a disappointment
To the eldest in the family, i'm not welcome
To campers on long island, i'm the odd one out
To the camper in california, i am the spy no one noticed
To my grandfather, i could of been useful, but now a nuisance
To great-grand mother, i am bait
But to percy, i am the little brother he never had
To thalia, i am someone to tease, in a good way
To hazel, i am someone who gave her the second chance she never got
To jason, i am not as cold as i look
To sally, i am another son
Nico looked at the paper and sensed that something was missing, then added a message at the end, something he learned through his adventures.
No one will ever know who they are, not until the end. It doesnt really matter what other people think about you. But on the adventure to find yourself, you need someone to stand by you forever. Then you can stand by them when they are in need, after all, what are friends for?
“Alright times up, please put your name on the top of your work and had to the front.” Said Paul. Nico gave a small smile, as rare as a visit to calipso. he gave in his work and shadow-traveled to his cabin at Camp Half-Blood.
What he didnt see, however, the look on Pauls face when he smiled...
