Daughter of the Sky

"OW!"
I put my hand on the top of my head. It is already sore from the other speed bumps on the road.
"Seriously, what kind of road is this? My head is gonna crack if we don't get off this bus right now!"
"Sorry," Marissa mumbles. She is also gingerly feeling her head for sore spots on her head,"This is the fastest way to get to camp."
"The Drivers are CRAZY! I think they blind or something.
"More blind than you think," Marissa mumbles under her breath.
"huh?"
Bump
"OW!"
I think those three bus drivers had managed to hit every single speed bump on the road and... a wide assortment of trees, bushes and telephone poles!
"whoa!" I put my hands out to catch myself before I hit my head again, on the steel metal seat in front of me.
The bus screeches to a stop.
One bus driver turns around. I registers in my brain that SHE ONLY HAS ONE EYE!
The driver smiles (if you can call it a smile) and says (or cackles)," We're there. Now one drachma just as we agreed on.
"Here." Marissa tosses her a golden coin, "Come on Joy, let's go! "
I have no choice but to follow.
