I will never forget you

1. Audry

Summer was almost over. I had switched to a new school again. Other parents would be mad that their child had kicked out of school so many times, but my parents understood. We were different. My little brother Thomas went to the school of mister Blowfish. Dad's stephdad. His real name wasn't Blowfish, but we called him that because it sounded way better.
I would go to a small school in Manhatten. Maybe things went better if the school wasn't that big.

I putted my cloths on and waked Thomas. Together we went down stairs to make breakfast. He was so happy to go to school again and see his friends. Dad and Mum didn't tell him about the god thing because he didn't attracked monsters. As longs as he didn't know, he was save.
'Let's wake dad and mum!' Thomas said. We went to their bedroom. They were still sleeping. 'WAKE UP! WAKE UP!' Thomais yelled. 'What! What!' Dad said. He jumped out of bed and grabbed his favourit pen. I had asked him a couple of times why he always grabbed his pen if he thought he was in danger. He always answered that pens are more usual than you think. Mum laughed about dad's reaction and she also got out of bed. We ate togheter in the kitchen and went into the car. Some kids would have found it embarresing to sit with your family in a car on your way to school. But I didn't. I had the feeling that this was one of the happiest feelings for dad and mum. Save and togheter. They didn't tell us much about their past, because of Thomas I think, but I knew they had gone through some hard times.
We arrived at Thomas' school. He and dad got out the car. Dad started talking to mister Blowfish while Thomas greeted his friends.
It was now or never, I thought. I had to ask it one more time.
'Mom,' I said, 'How did you and dad met? And what is the orange t-shirt in dad's closet with CHB on it?'
'We met at school, dear. I told you that before.' She answered.
'I don't believe it! You told me that dad was kicked out of school every year! And he also told me that he didn't have any friends except for Grover and Tyson. And what about the shirt?'
'I told you, we met at school, maybe dad forgot to tell you about that. And about the shirt, just a stupid club dad joined at University. Nothing special.'
I didn't believe her at all. It didn't make sence. It wasn't possible that they were half god and still had peacefull lifes. I mean, if I were a half god, I would try my powers and fight monsters and stuff.
Dad said goodby to mister Blowfish and walked back to the car. We drove in silence to my new school. Mum, dad and I got out of the car. I grabbed my bag and we walked to the entrance. The school was small and white. Dad putted his hand on my shoulder and looked at me. 'No matter what happens, we'll always love you, okay?' He said. I nodded. I guess he knowed that I was nervous. I didn't want to explode the toilets or get some weird monster to attack me. I wished dad and mum told me the truth about their past. It would be so much better. I would finaly know what to do.
Mum gave me a kiss on my head and we said goodby. 'See you in the afternoon!' She said. They walked away, and looked back once. When they smiled to eachother, they looked years younger. I could see them walking like this in 'school'. I turned around and walked inside. My classroom was painted red. I walked to the table of the teacher, because I had no idea were to sit. 'Hello,' the teacher said, 'you must be Audry Jackson.' I nodded. 'You can sit over there.' She continued.
I sat next to a boy with black hair and green eyes, but not like dad's. 'Hi, I'm Albus,' he said, 'but everyone calls me Al.'
'Hi.' I said. 'Do you like this school?' I didn't know what else to say.
'Well, it's okay for a school. Not many people, but that's okay. You're Audry, right?'
'Yup, that's me.'
He looked at me with a serious face.
'I guess that we're going to be friends.' He decided. I found it weird that he had said that, but maybe that was normal on a school with like 100 kids.
