I will never forget you

Everyone in the Gryffindor common room was doing something: homework, playing games or just talk. I sat on a couch next to rose who was doing her homework. I wanted to help her but nothing in her book made sense to me.
'Just a few more minutes.' She said. 'After I finished my homework we can do something fun, like play a game.'
'It's okay.' I answered. 'Just take all the time you need.'
Rose focused on her homework again and from her expression I could see she barely understood any of it.
I stared at two boys who were playing some weird and more aggressive sort of chess and though I didn't understand any of it, it was fascinating to look at.
'Hey jackson.' Someone said. I looked around though I already knew who called me and saw James standing behind the couch.
'Yes?' I asked.
'How was your first day?'
'Why?'
'Just trying to be nice.' He grinned.
'It was cool.'
'Just cool?'
'You're probably going to laugh at me when I tell you what I really think.'
'Of course not!'
I grinned. 'You always do.'
'I swear I changed.'
I raised an eyebrow.
'Sort of.' He added. 'Remember I wanted to show you some cool spots in school?'
'Yes why?'
'Shall I show you them now?'
'Okay let me get this straight, you're extremely bored so you thought "hey! Why not show a two years younger girl around? Yolo!"'
James laughed. 'Yolo? Really?
'Oh hey nephew.' Rose said, she'd also turned around now. 'Are you being annoying as usual?'
'I'm really disappointed in the way you guys look at me.' James said.
'I guess there's a reason for it.' I joked.
'Oh shut up. Shall I show you around or not?'
'If you're taking her on a tour I'm going with you guys just to make sure you don't get her in trouble.' Rose said.
'Cool!' I said. 'Lets go then.'

Rose and I followed James through the hallways of hogwarts, and after a few minutes I was already totally lost. I was so happy I was not alone.
'Where are we going?' Rose asked.
'You'll see.' James answered.
'James...'
'You'll see! Just trust me.'
'Trust you?!' Rose said grinning. 'No offense but-'
'Shh I don't want to hear it.' James interrupted her.
We went up another stairs and this one led to the roof of one of the towers. When we were finally there I saw how amazing this place was. You had a wonderful view and everything was so peaceful and quiet.
'This is what you wanted to show her?' Rose asked.
'Yeah something wrong with that?' James replied.
'No.. No definitely not. I just thought you would show her something illegal or some secret room or something.'
'It's a beautiful place' I said. 'Thanks for showing me.'
'Yeah good idea to go here.' Rose agreed. 'Sorry for not trusting you in the first place.'
James grinned. 'That doesn't matter. I wouldn't trust me either.'

Just before dinner rose and I met Scorpius and al again. We couldn't eat together but it was better than not seeing them at all.
Even having a normal dinner was magical. And I was to amazed by everything to actually eat something.
In the evening everyone continued playing games and doing homework in the common room and because rose was still busy with her homework I had nothing to do.
'Hey.' Hanna said.
'Hi!' I said.
'Do you want to learn how to play wizard chess?'
I nodded. 'Yes! I would love to!'
