I will never forget you

I'll admit it, I was nervous. Like really nervous. There were so many things that could go wrong! I was waiting on the airport in London and started to wonder if my bag would come. Finally I saw my bag and I sighed in relief. I followed the stream of people who hopefully went to the exit. Then I saw it, the street. It was full with taxis, cars and busses. Wow. How did I ever had to find the Potters in here.
My eye caught a ginger haired lady who was waving at me. It was Ginny Weasley, thank the gods. I walked towards her and she welcomed me with a hug.
'It's so good to see you again!' She said. She helped me carrying my bag towards the car and we drove away from the airport.
'You've grown so much!' Ginny said, I'd already expected she would say this cause almost every adult does it.
I smiled. 'So hows London?'
'Oh its fine. It's a really busy city but we live outside of it.'
'Are Al and the others at home?'
'No they're still at school for one week then there's a small holiday, but we arrange you could go to Hogwarts for that week.'
'What? But is that even possible? I'm a quarter-god, or however you call it, not a witch.'
'We know, but they would like to welcome you. They said it wouldn't matter for a week.'
'Okay, sounds cool! But Al told me there were four houses or something? How do I know in which one I belong?'
'I think they'll tell you when you're there. So you can choose, we can go straight to Hogwarts now or we can go to our house.'
'Ehh Hogwarts I think.'
Ginny smiled. 'Good choice!'

Hogwarts was the most impressive building I'd ever seen. Ginny led me inside and I had to do my best to not get distracted by paintings and photos that moved and talked and other cool magical stuff. We went to someones office (maybe from the head of the school?) and sat down.
'Welcome.' A woman said. 'It's a pleasure to have you in my office mrs...'
'Weasley.' Ginny said. 'I kept my own name.'
'I am Evatrix Waddlesnoff, but for you my dear,' she nodded in my direction, 'it's mrs. Waddlesnoff.'
I nodded.
'So ms. Jackson, I understand you're not a witch?'
I nodded again. 'No, I'm not, I'm related to two of the greek gods so I'm not a total muggle. That's how you call it right?'
Mrs. Waddlesnoff raised an eyebrow. 'Yes... That's how we call them.'
She studied me like she was deciding what to do with me and then made a decision. 'Follow me.' She said. 'Let's see in which house you are.'
Insecure I looked back at Ginny who made a sign that I had to go. I followed mrs. Waddlesnoff through all different hallways and there were stairs which moved! They really moved! Now I was sure I would never found my way here, though it was only for a week. We went into a new room which I think was a classroom, it was empty now.
'Sit.' Mrs. Waddlesnoff said.
I sat down on a chair and watched mrs. Waddlesnoff coming towards me with a sort of weird hat. The ones you wear on Halloween when you try to look like a witch. I never expected real wizards and witches wore them too.
'Sit still.' The woman ordered. I did what she said and she put the hat on my head.
'Ohh you're different!' Something said which was apparently the hat which kind of freaked me out. Did I had to talk back or not? I decided not to do it.
'Hmm let's see, you're only staying here for a week? Well... I think you might be.... Hmm... I doubt between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor... Do you even know what the difference is girl?'
No, I thought.
'Well, you will find out soon. Lets put you in.... GRYFFINDOR!' The last word I could hear through the whole room. Mrs. Waddlesnoff got the hat from my head and nodded. 'Gryffindor. Let's take you there then.'
We walked again through a lot of hallways and I wondered if students got lost in her often. I hoped they were always found back.
'Password.' One of the paintings suddenly said.
Mrs. Waddlesnoff said a weird word and the painting opened like a door. She walked in and I followed her. A few students were sitting in the common room and now they were all staring at me. Great, just great.
'Is Johnson here?' Mrs. Waddlesnoff asked.
The students shook their heads.
Mrs. Waddlesnoff sighed. 'Okay, Williams can you take care of here? She'll be staying for a week. Give her a uniform and guide her around. If you see Johnson, tell her she arrived. Johnson knows everything about this. You can ask her if you have questions.' And with that Mrs. Waddlesnoff left.
'So what's your name?' One of the students said.
'Audrey. Audrey Jackson.' I said.
'Cool. Welome to Gryffindor Audrey. I'm Lucas Bell and this are June Cooper, Mason Gray and Hannah Wil-'
'Thanks Lucas. I can introduce myself. I'm Hannah Williams. If you have any questions you can ask me or Eva Johnson. I'll show you who she is later. Now follow me then I can show you were you'll sleep and give you a uniform.'
I followed her up the stairs into a girls room. She showed me where I slept and I sat down.
'This is all pretty serious for someone who's only staying for a week.'
Hannah smiled. 'I know. I think it's just necessary to do it like this or something. But it's fun right? This is like a ones in a lifetime experience for you I think.'
I nodded. 'Probably.'
Hannah handed me my uniform.
'Here get changed. I'll be back in ten minutes to show you around okay?'
