Percy's POV:

I was sitting at my desk in Homeroom next to my cousin Thalia. My other cousin, Nico, was behind me. I was talking with Nico the whole class. When the bell rung I went to my locker with Nico fallowing close behind. Thalia went to Zeus knows where, so I was stuck with Nico. Don't get me wrong, I love Nico like a brother but when we're alone he can get weird fast. I grabbed a few extra book and went to my next class. English, taught by my step-father, Mr Blofis greeted everyone with 'Hello's, 'Good Mornings' etc. I set down next to Nico who was playing with his skull ring his father gave him. "Good morning class."

"Good morning Mr. Blowfish" Travis Stoll said. Travis and his twin, Conner, were the big trouble makers of the school.

"Good morning Ms. Stoll" My step-dad countered earning a bunch of laughs across the room. Travis face was red with embarrassment. "Okay today-"

"Sorry I'm late, I got lost." Some girl interrupted.

"No problem, you must be Annabeth." She nodded "Everybody this is our new student Annabeth Chase." Paul introduced her. "You may sit next to Percy right there." Paul said pointing to me.

I didn't mind her sitting next to me, she sounded nice and was pretty cute. Nico leaned in to me and and nudged me while winking. I elbowed him in the stomach and he let out and 'Umph' Annabeth smiled at me and I smiled back. After class I went to my locker which was right next to Annabeth's, so I figured this might be a good time to get acquainted. "Hey, I'm Percy. Percy Jackson." I said holding my hand out so she could shake it.

She smiled and shook my hand "Annabeth Cha-" she got interrupted by my personal bully, Luke Castellan. He tries to make my life Hell but fails.

"Sup, Jackson got anything for me today." he said while pinning me against my locker. Annabeth stood there looking like she wanted to help.

"No! Sorry Luke I, I didn't know we were exchanging gift. What did you get me?" I said while trying to piss him of.

His face was red with anger. Then Annabeth cleared her throat. Oh, Hey didn't see you there." he said letting me go and taking interest in Annabeth. Annabeth shot me a very amused smile. "So whats your name?"

"My name is, Get the fuck away from Percy." She said happily.

"Fine!" Luke said yelling as he left.

"You know I could've taken' him." I said

"Yeah sure." Annabeth said between laughs.

"So want me to show you around?"

"Ummm, sure, why not."

"Okay, hand me your schedule." She took out her schedule and handed it too me. "Okay we have almost every class together except Science."

"Cool" She said. We went through the school day easily and the came... Lunch!
