The thirteenth Olympian
Moving on
2 Years Later
I`ve gotten used to be a god. It has already been two whole years and I`m just now figuring out how to used my powers. Since I`m a god of time, I can control every aspect of it. Also, being the god of the earth, the whole world is my domain(excluding my fathers territory, which is 70% of the earth.) I haven`t seen Annabeth since we saved Olympus, and I have become leader of the fauns and the wild since Pan died.
Since I`m a god of time, I made Riptide a pocket watch instead of a sword.
And yes, I know about the Roman camp. I watched the Greek and Romans combine to stop the giants. I even helped them kill a few giants, since it takes a god and a demi god to kill one.
Since I`m always in the wild, my wardrobe has changed as well. I usually wear puffer jackets, combat boots, and gloves.
Ah, the wild. I loved it almost as much as I loved the sea. still being the son of Poseidon, I still have some ocean powers, but they`ve weakened since I do not use them very often.
I was currently walking in the woods, swinging my pocket watch, when I heard a rustle in the trees. Swoosh! A silver arrow whistled passed my ear. The hunters. At least once a month, I would find myself face- to- face with one. Ever since I became a god, Artemis listened very closely whenever I spoke at a Olympian meeting. She wants to know if I sired any children yet. I came to this conclusion when I went to camp half blood, and she was looking in my cabin to see if I had any kids in their.
I looked up just before a angry looking huntress planted an arrow right in front of my face.
"Seriously, Thalia? You don't see me for weeks and you put and arrow in my face? Come on, that's just not cool." I walked past her and kept walking.
"Sorry, Percy. Its just that Lady Artemis wants us to do that to all gods. What you doing her?"
"Just walking. Making sure my domain is safe." I turned to her and smiled. "Where are the other hunters?"
"Back at camp.There were a lot of animals here so I thought I would find you somewhere around here."
I cursed under my breath. Wildlife always come to me. I can talk to them, so they naturally love me.
Behind us, 5 hooded men stood around a sixteen year old girl." Shut up, bitch" one of them said.
Thalia and I quickly ran over to the men and asked what was going on over here.
"None of yo-whoa," he stopped himself when he saw my masculine build and height.
I smirked at the shorter man. "If you know what`s good for you, you will leave this forest and leave this girl alone." I looked behind one of the men and saw the girl whimpering with a bruise on her lip and a cut on her hand. I saw one of the men with a knife. I became furious with these men.
"Let`s get these kids", the supposedly leader said. I was baffled. But then I remembered that I was still sixteen when I became a god and I looked the part.
The men rushed us. Thalia quickly kicked the shortest man with a roundhouse kick, making him unconsciousness. Another thug grabbed a branch and swung wildly at my feet. I could tell that these men were drunk from the smell and their movements. So I just side stepped, pressed the top of my pocket watch and turning it to riptide, and hitting the but of my blade on his forehead. All of the other guys were easy to take down, and in 15 second, their bodies were all laid by our feet.
We quickly picked up the girl, and Thalia gave her some medicine and band- aids from her pouch.
"What`s your name?" we asked.
She only sat there, dumbfounded. "How the hell did the two of you take down those guys so easily?" She asked
I finally got a good look at her. She had long dark hair, beautiful tanned skin, and big pouty eyes that make you want to cuddle up with her and never let go. She was pretty attractive.
I could`nt tell if she was Greek or Roman. I`m usually pretty good with that. When I usually found a demigod, I just turned into the right direction of which camp they belonged to. But her, she was different.
"Do yo have a birth father and mother?" I asked.
She looked at me startled. "Yes... and my name is Eve. Eve Jones."
So she`s clearly a clear sighted mortal because she winced when she saw a giant overly sized bear behind us. It had a golden back and metal claws. I was ready to go into action until Thalia nonchalantly shot an arrow though the monster`s stomach, turning it into goldened dust.
For some strange reason, I decided on telling her about me being a god and Thalia was a huntress of Artemis. She only stared at us. I could swear she was going to run and call the nuthouse until she said," Wow, a god. I always knew you guys were real." I was going to ask why those thugs were bullying her, until the goddess of the hunt materialized beside us.
Thalia immediately stood up and saluted, but Artemis regarded her as if she wasn`t there. Artemis stared daggers at me.
I ignored her and made two PB and J sandwiches appear. I gave one to Eve and took a bite out of one for myself.
"What`s up, Artemis?"
"Perseus, what are you doing here?" She asked coldly.
"I really don`t get what everyone else do not understand. My domain is the earth. So I`m pretty much allowed to go wherever I want."
"When I came to camp, Thalia was not there. So I came to her and you`re here. So I`ll ask you again, why are you here?"
I was getting pretty upset, and before I could do anything, Thalia filled her in. She told her everything.
"Very well," Artemis said. " It seems that we have a clear sighted mortal. We could ask her to join us and become a huntress." All of the huntresses cheered.
She knelt down next to Eve. " Think about it, child. Being an immortal. Traveling the world with people who understand you. Never again having to be mistreated by a man." With that, she looked at me like I did something wrong.
"I accept," Eve said.
I was furious. How could Artemis just come into my land and tell me what to do.
"Eve, you don't have to do this. Be a mortal and don't worry about all of this godly business. Trust me, you don't want to live like this."
"But I have to. I`m tired of being mistreated, taken for granted. And I always wanted to travel the world and see all kinds of new things."
I may have just met her, but I started to have all kinds of feelings for her. She accepted that there were gods and goddess out there so fast that it may me want to be compelled to only her.
"Oh, and Artemis, Do I have to completely swear off boys?" Eve asked her.
"No, but you want become a immortal." She said with curious eyes.
She asked me for my number, but since gods don't usually carry around phones, I told her to just think about me and I`ll be there instantly.
So that settled it. Eve ran to her new sisters and I stood there alone. Before she left, Artemis looked back with a smirk and vanished.
I may have found the only other mortal who stole my heart besides Annabeth, and Artemis took her away. I think Eve just stole my heart.
