The Problem At The Mets Game...
Chapter 10: Autumn
After archery practice and some free time the next day, everyone gathered around the pine tree near the entrance. Chiron yelled over everyone. "Everyone be quiet! They will be here in one minute!" Autumn, for some reason, did not want to be there. She walked away and found herself in front of Cabin Three. What am I doing here? Oh well, might as well stay. It looks like no one lives here. She sat down on the steps for a moment and took in the wonderful scent of sea water. Autumn absolutely loved it.
Autumn looked near the pine tree and saw a new group of girls, The Hunters. Even from here, she could see Thalia. That girl stuck out like a sore thumb, in a good way. Then she noticed a group next to the Hunters. That must be the famous Seven. They don't look to special to me.
She could see Lily talking to a girl with blonde hair. There was a boy with black hair next to her, holding her hand. Lily and the girl looked a lot alike. Autumn decided to go to the lake. She walked by the bonfire pit and was soon at the boardwalk, and she sat down.
"Can we sit here?" Autumn turned around to see the boy and the girl from before standing behind her.
"Sure. My name's Autumn. What's yours?" She asked.
"I'm Percy, son of Poseidon. This is my girlfriend, Wise- I mean Annabeth, daughter of Athena. It's nice to meet you." Percy put his hand out to shake Autumn's. Autumn stood up and shook his hand. Suddenly, there was a splash of water and a blue light. Percy's eyes widened.
"What's wrong? What was that splash?" Autumn asked.
"Percy, the trident. I thought-" Annabeth started.
"I did, too. But-" Percy stopped. "Autumn, look above your head." Autumn did as Percy said and saw a circle with a trident.
She started running around in circles. "Oh my gods! What the heck! get it off, get it off!" Autumn yelled. Suddenly, out of nowhere, she focused on the water and brought it up to her head. "Ugh why isn't this working? Percy, don't just stand there! How do I get it off?" Autumn stopped and stared at Annabeth and Percy. They were just standing there.
"Autumn! You can control water!" Percy yelled and started jumping around and hugged her.
"Well no duh, you vlacas! Oh sorry. Still can't control the Greek." Autumn pushed Percy off and looked seriously into his eyes. "Can you please not tell anyone? I'm begging you. I don't want to be stared at like an experiment. I've had enough of that." Autumn pleaded.
"WELL HOW'S MY FAVORITE DAUGHTER DOING! AND PERCY! WASSUP!" A man was on the shore, looking at them.
"DAD! What are you doing?" Percy yelled. So this is Poseidon? A man in shorts and a Hawaiian t-shirt? Cool! Not what I expected but...
"Oh my gods. My boyfriend is such a Seaweed Brain..." Autumn heard Annabeth mumble.
"I'm here to talk to my children! But Autumn, you won't be able to keep your secret for long. I have to go now. I just wanted to see you all. Bye!" With that, Poseidon vanished into the water.
Percy turned to Autumn and smiled. "I'll keep your secret sis. At least sit with me at the Poseidon table during dinner. Let's go."
"Okay." Autumn replied, and they headed to dinner.
