The Problem At The Mets Game...
Chapter 23: Lily
Hours later, back in the cave, Lily was growing suspicious of Autumns behavior. She kept looking around like she expected something bad to happen. And, when Gabby offered her food, she declined. Yes, you all heard right; Autumn Reed said no to food. She didn't even seem excited when Lily revealed that Cody was alive. I mean, she thought her friend was dead for so long, that Lily was expecting her to be excited.
So, to deal with the matter, Lily did something drastic.
"Autumn, come here, I need you." She said.
Autumn got up and walked to the table where Lily and Will were working in battle strategies.
"I have a job for you." Lily announced.
"What is it?" Asked Autumn.
"Well, there is someone who is proving to be an inconvinience to me." Lily began. "And I need you to kill him."
"Who?"
"Your brother. Percy Jackson."
"Oh."'Autumn said quietly.
"I'll get rid of Chase and you'll dispose of Jackson. Deal?" Lily asked sweetly.
Autumn was silent for a moment.
Finnaly, she said, "Yes, I'll do it."
Lily smiled evilly. Everything was perfect. Autumn was on her side, Jackson would soon be gone, and the gods would he finished.
"Good." She said. "Here's what you have to do. Sneak into Cabin Three at midnight and rub this powder on his body."
Lily held up a bottle of fine powder.
"I killed a Hydra for this, so you better not waste it." Lily told Autumn. "In the morning, he'll be as good as dead. Understood?"
Autumn nodded.
"And, um, how do y plan on killing Annabeth?" Autumn asked.
"That's for me to know." Lily said. "Now, get ready, you'll have to leave soon. Cody will take you to camp. When you are ready, blow on this locket; It should alert Cody, and he'll come and get you."
Lily gave Autumn a beautiful emerald necklace.
"Why are you still here?" Lily asked. "Go!"
