"What did he tell you?" A woman's voice said, smacking my cheek. The bag was still over my head, and I was unable to see. It was kind of hard to see. A light penetrated the bag, blinding me.
"What?!" I asked, coughing. The girl slapped my cheek again.
"Answer the question! What did Perseus Jackson tell you when you visited him in the jail?" I spit, regretting my decision.
"Nothing! He didn't tell me anything. He was being a lunatic. All he said was..." I paused for a moment. Whoever these people were, I wasn't just going to tell them everything.
"He just said what?" She asked.
"He said that...He was going to kill someone, I don't know who. Something about his brother." There was a pause.
"Alright. Get ready. Go after Isaac. Put Allen somewhere that when he wakes up, he won't be able to find us. The girl sounds awfully familiar...
"Yes, ma'am."
"And hurry up!" Wait... Is that...
"Julia?" I asked, still blind.Dead silence
"Ugh. Take off the bag." Someone threw the Walmart bag off of my head, and I realized I was in the guards barracks in New Rome. Julia sat with an apple in her hand.
"What's going on?"
"Percy- the man you talked to in the prison. Your uncle. He hasn't told anyone else anything for the past 134 years. We needed to know what he told you."
"You had to knock me out and drag me across New Rome? You couldn't have just asked?"
"No. To easy for you to call for help in case you thought I was some traitor."
"Oi." I said. "Could you untie me?"
"Gladly." She pulled out a small knife, and with one swift motion, my hands were free. She then used her knife to cut off a small piece of her apple, then ate it. Freaky.
"So, i'm just going to go now..." I said, getting up from the chair.
"Go ahead." Julia replied.
"I'm going," I said, slowly starting to walk to the door.
"Nothing's stopping you," Julia said, taking another bite of her apple.
"Leaving..." I said, opening the door.
"Bye." Julia said, her mouth full of her apple, waving with as much of a smile she could with her face stuffed. I closed the door behind me. That was extremely awkward. Now, time to go visit my jail pal.
"Allen!" Julia said from above me. I looked. She was hanging out of the second story window, her blade drawn.
"Gah!" I said, trying to run. "You said I could go!" She jumped off, tackling me to the ground.
"You did leave! Now this is personal!"
"What?!" I said. Julia was now trying to choke me to death.
"Julia..." I said, gasping for breath. "What are you doing..."
"Stop, right now!" An old, but familiar voice said with a slight Russian accent.
Oh boy. Here comes Kozak Fas'io.
I love this!
