Hecate's Experiment

Hope was terrible when it came to wielding weapons of any kind. She kept dropping them. However, when it came to hand to hand combat, she was a natural. She took down most of her opponents with ease and an air of feline grace. The boys started calling her cat woman.
Clarisse was a bit more serious about it though. "You have raw talent, Hope," she said. "But you still need to train it. Now go--it's almost dinner time."
Hope smiled and grabbed a drink of water. Then it happened again. She slumped to the floor, unconscious without the slightest warning.
Hope glared at the crazy woman. She was surrounded by the blue flames again, but this time Hope stayed as far away from them as she could.
"What do you want?" she snapped.
The woman wasn't laughing this time. She seemed to actually be slightly sane. "Hello, baby dragon," she said, her face grim. "The time is near--you'll need to be prepared!"
"Prepared for what?" asked Hope, getting annoyed. Couldn't this crazy lady, just leave her alone? "Who are you?"
The woman smiled. "I am your subconscious"
Hope laughed skeptically. "You are so full of it."
The woman only continued to grin. "If you want--call me," she paused. "Call me Draco."
"The dragon? Seriously?"
"Yes."
Voices filled the room. People outside were trying to wake Hope up. She looked at Draco. "Why do you keep calling me here?"
"Because you are still afraid of your power," smiled Draco. "These flames are not here for decoration you know."
"Those flames are evil! I'm supposed to be fire proof--those flames burn me!" snapped Hope.
"Only because you fear them," said Draco as pain started to crawl up Hope's arm. She looked down, fighting tears. Small cuts were appearing up and down her arm. Seriously? He was cutting himself? Right then?
"I have to go!" snapped Hope, clutching her arm to herself.
Draco laughed. "You can't leave until I release you!"
"Then release me!"
Draco grinned. "If you wish."
Hope sat up with a gasp. People were crowded around her. She pushed them away. "I'm fine, excuse me!" she said quickly, lurching to her feet and out the arena, before the others noticed her arm.
It stung worse than she expected. How could he intentionally do this to himself? She wanted to claw her arm off it hurt so much. And there was quite a lot of blood, considering that the cuts weren't that deep.
She growled, trying to stifle the tears. And failing. She shouldered open the door, to Cabin 12. Pollux was lying on his bed, watching the blood drip down his arm.
"Are you trying kill yourself?" she snapped, as he shot out of bed.
"Hope," he started, slightly confused. "Why are you crying?"
"Because it hurts moron!" she snapped showing him her arm.
"Why would you do this to yourself?"
"Who said I did it?" She launched into a explanation of the bracelets. "This hurts so much. Why do you do this?"
He didn't answer, Hope could smell a bit of alcohol on his breath. He continued to stare at her arm. For a moment, it looked as if he might cry too. "Pollux?" Hope was starting to get a little freaked out.
His gaze broke and he pulled her over to the bathroom, and began to clean her arm, apologize the whole way. When her arm was finally bandaged (poorly), that was when he finally choked.
A tear fell from his face. "I'm sorry," he sobbed, not looking at her. "I didn't mean for you to get hurt."
Hope smiled slightly and forced him to look at her. "It's alright," she told him. "I never told you what would happen, it's not your fault."
"I will never ever hurt you again," he said. "I swear it on the River Styx."
Hope's smile widened, she almost replied, but Draco hadn't been done with her. She slumped forward.

I should probably note that Draco looks a bit like Asami is Legend of Korra--just you know a bit older and crazier
