The Impossible Siblings
On the way
Zoe's POV
We walk away from the Gorgon dust and look at the map.We turn the corner again and walk back the way we came.Matthew says,"So,we're going to Chicago."
Dawn says,"Do we know what we're looking for in Chicago?"
I spoke."No.We just have to go to Chicago and hope we get a clue there."
Matthew folds up the map and sticks it in his duffel."Let's go then."
He walks to the curb and whistles.A cab pulls up and he tosses his bag in the trunk.He stares at us."You coming?" He asks.
I walk to the cab,open the door,and slip in,holding my bag.Matthew walks to the other side and gets in,tentatively placing his hand on top of mine.
Oh dear,he was sweet.
Dawn sits down beside him and tells the driver,"Chicago,Illinois.Make it fast."
He turns,a look of disbelief on his face,and responds,"That's out of my ran-"
He shuts up when Dawn tosses two $100 bills in his face.

Matthew gently shakes me."Zoe,wake up," He whispers.I open my eyes half-way and stare around.Now I am still half-asleep,but I know that the inside of a cab doesn't contain a bed,a TV,
and a desk.
I open my eyes all the way and stare around.We are inside a hotel room,Matthew is leaning over me.I am laying out on a bed,my legs folded under me.Dawn is nowhere to be seen.I frown down at my body.
"How did I get into a dress?"
Matthew blushes,looking away.I realize and then say,smiling,"Did you enjoy dressing me?"
He turns,his eyes wide,and I sit up,kissing him.I pulled him down to the bed next to me.He lays with me and keeps the kiss going for almost a minute.I break off,smiling,and with a sudden motion,move and lay half on top of him.My hair falls around his head,creating a curtain.I kiss him and he puts his arms around me.We become more engrossed in the kiss.He moves his hand through my hair-not pulling it,mind you.I move my head and flip my hair around,hitting him in the face a little.He pulls me closer,regardless,and I push my lips on his.He allows this and I lay across his body,still kissing.
Then Dawn knocks on the door."Matthew? Are you in there? The hotel office won't accept credit cards."
Matthew keeps the kiss going for a couple seconds,then he pulls away,regret in his eyes.He hugs me,then walks out.
I go to the bathroom and look in the mirror.Woah-this dress looks fantastic on me.That,combined with my giddiness over what just happened,causes me to spin around,laughing merrily.I spin my way into the room and smack down on the bed,laying my arms on either side of me.I smile.
Matthew's POV
I walk out of the room,regretting every step I take away from Her.I had met Zoe less than two weeks ago.Yet I felt meant to be with her,and I knew I loved her.
Dawn stands outside,jumping from foot to foot."Come on,Matthew,this thing really itches."
She gestures to the dress we had bought her.I look down at the rented tux and say,"Yes,I know the feeling."
She rolls her eyes and,grabbing my arm and squeezing tight,pulls me down the steps,to the hotel office.I reach in my pocket and grab a twenty.Handing it to the cashier,I give Dawn a pointed look.She rolls her eyes again and sighs.
